The experience of checking in at the base of the mountain and then riding the gondola to the hotel and ski area was unique. It reminded me of the Alps where cars are not allowed in the mountain. The front desk service was excellent, dealing with the regular check-in procedure as well as a snafu with our ski passes. The...

the only flaw was that - even though we booked a very nice Suite - the view was limited and we looked at the neighbouring building... :-( For the rest Location, Service, room Quality => this was perfect ! People were very friendly and access to the slopes was great. We will come back ! (but then book another room...

Very disappointed with the food service with the restaurant in the hotel. Terribly long wait on a Sunday evening with only 3 other tables being served. Had to continue to ask for drinks and wait for server to come by, ask for our food twice after waiting over an hour. Server and acting Manager did nothing to accommodate our concerns.

We stayed for the opening weekend of the 2016/2017 season. Granted, there are going to be new staff members that need to learn the ropes, but the entire resort seemed to be run by completely untrained new staff. We had issues checking into our room, issues with our bills, issues in the restaurant (waiting an hour for our bill), and...

I wish the hot tub was open a wee bit earlier so one can get a soak in before the chair lifts open. Loved the big hot tub!!! Great location, can't get better than this. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

We have stayed a few times at this hotel over the past 5 years. This most recent stay wasn't the best. Seemed like staff was a bit overwhelmed. The room wasn't as clean as it had been before (found crumbs all over the carpet when we arrived),The room we stayed in looked a little a bit more rough than rooms...

Amazing experience. Well done, and super simple considering the hotel is a 20 minute gonadal ride up the mountain. Food was decent, limit options but that is to be expected. Price was a little high though.

A late booking meant we were able to check out 2 different rooms. Both rooms were very nice with lovely views but both had showers with no water pressure and no hot water. I ended up showering in the terrible ugly hot tub change room and the water there was luke warm. The rooms do not allow you to purchase...

Amazing all the way! An enormous Thank you to all staff at Sunshine! You rock you guys! You made our stay memorable. My son was thrilled to make it up to the Village with his wheelchair in the gondola! Then on the skidoo to the hotel! So cool!!! Reception, Concierge, Restaurant and Room Service staff were great! Being a single parent, it's not always easy to give my children the kinds of vacations other Alberta families can afford. That is why I am so appreciative of the occasional "stay-'n-ski" specials offered at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge. They allow us the luxury of treating ourselves to the best skiing, accommodations, and dining available in our fantastic Rockies --...
