We have been coming here for 10 years but will not return until they finally upgrade the place. It is starting to fall apart and getting very old. Tiles are off walls, carpet is ripped, furniture is beyond cleaning. Hot tub and slides are fun.

Just a relaxing day away from the city was so much fun. We checked into a dog unit, so we could include the family pet! These units are located separate from main buildings.(They are dated but very clean and complete with kitchen and dishes.) This way our dog could go for walks out on the paths, and not disturb anyone....

We just spent the weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed it all. The use of the waterslide was great with the kids and adults! All good fun!!! The unit was well equipped for cooking breakfast for everyone...maybe could have just had a bit larger frypan for such a large group! Also would have liked a stronger wi-fi in the room...perhaps some...

While our intent was to have a family ski trip, the cold weather kept us away from the ski hills. Fortunately, the resort had great options for indoor activities. We enjoyed the waterslides/kiddy pool/outdoor hot tub, the indoor pool and hot tub and the amazing Playzone for children. Unfortunately, due to frozen pipe lines, we were moved to chalets closer...

We had an A-Frame Cabin with a Kitchen it was great as we were traveling with our Grand Children: -The rooms were clean and tidy - Kitchen facilities were great everything we needed to look after the kids - The Grandchildren loved the Jungle Gym, Water Slides, and Pool facilities. - The Staff were all polite and helpful. - Special...

We have stayed at the Douglas Fir before and were able to see past the dated and dingy interiour for the charm and convenience offered by the wood burning fire place and kitchenette. The dinginess has given way to utter disrepair. The couch, which must be moved in order to access the murphy bed (?!), was on a slant due...

This go around the stay was much better. The condo we had was clean and comfortable. Dog friendly too! It was all about the kids this weekend so the pool and playroom were hits. It is awkward to get into the pool and playroom areas. I also found the change rooms too small/crowded. Woke up one morning to this beautiful...

Thought this would be a great place for a family stay, with the water slides and all..... We were so excited about the idea of having our own chalet nestled in the mountains for the weekend. We paid over $300/night. The bed was the original, I'm sure, from 1960 when the cabin was built. The box spring was so old,...

Our family had a great weekend at the Douglas Fir but the key reason was the pool area. We had rented a suite which was nice for our family of 6 although it felt like a step back to the 80's in finishes and decor. Also there is a lack of entries into the main building to access the pool...

We stayed here for a week and rented a beautiful studio. The morning view of Rundel Mountain was out of this world. The first day after our arrival it snowed. The mountain looked magical. The staff was extremely friendly, with heated garage parking, a lovely fire crackling when the moon just hung over the mountain it completely made our stay....
