We have just returned from our 2nd visit to Compton Pool Farm. Having previously stayed in Crazy Well Cottage when we visited about 5 years ago, we stayed in the Arch Cottage this time. We enjoyed the same high standard of accommodation we experienced last time. One can clearly see that these cottages and grounds are well loved and well...

We stayed in Quaintways, a beautiful cottage half a mile from Compton Pool itself. It is a lovely old cottage in a very quiet hamlet nearly opposite Compton Castle. The lovely views are of the hill opposite. The cottage was spotlessly clean and stylishly furnished and had everything you could possibly think of provided. It takes dogs and provided a dog...

We spent a fantastic five days at Compton Pool Farm, staying in "Quaintways" - the cottage just half a mile or so down the road from the farm. We could not find fault with anything....the cottage had everything we needed, and has been very considerately planned out for family accommodation. The beds were very comfortable and they had provided extra...

We booked to stay in the farm house with our children, friends and their kids. The house was well equipped with high chairs, booster seats, children's cutlery and bed guards. There was loads of space for the kids to play (bag of toys waiting in the living room!). Each bedroom was a good size, very clean and comfortable. The layout...

We stayed over new years, and this was a brilliant way to welcome in 2017. The cottage we stayed in slept 5 people comfortably, and was absolutely lovely. It was very clean and modern, and was had every amenity we needed and more! There were lovely touches, and they even greeted us with tea and biscuits in the coottage, and...

We stayed in Crazy Well for 4 nights over Christmas having booked fairly last-minute after hunting around for the right place. We were greeted on arrival by Will who showed us around, whilst John was very helpful in ensuring our delivery of meat for Christmas lunch arrived safely. The cottage was immaculate and very well equipped. Often self-catering accommodation is...

Deciding to go away for Christmas with just a few weeks to go, meant that we had limited options based on our criteria (3 bedrooms, within 2 1/2 hours drive and walking distance to a pub for a festive stroll then drink!!). Compton Pool was therefore a great find and made for a really memorable family Christmas. The kids loved...

I cannot praise this holiday park/ set of cottages enough, especiallyif you are with children. We live in Asia and go home (Netherlands) during the summer for two and a half weeks. This time we decided to spend them at one place and have our family visit us instead of traveling around like gypsies with our stuff and jetlagged kids....

We spent a little time researching before booking our holiday. We wanted to stay somewhere that was child friendly, provided all the essential bits and pieces (cot, potty etc) and still provided a bit of luxury for us adults. Compton Pool Farm provides of all this. We stayed in Crazywell, which is a three bed cottage. The cottage works well...

We stayed at the Rookery for a week in August with three generations, grandchildren, parents and grandparents. The house is spacious and very well equipped and extremely child friendly...especially with two adventurous toddlers! The complex is very well kept and the children had hours of fun in the orchard, trampolining, climbing, and watching the farm animals. The indoor swimming pool...
