Beautiful location near the Peak District. Very quiet, friendly, spotlessly clean and everything you need for your stay. Breakfast was amazing and they catered well for my three small boys. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at this lovely, homely B&B for four nights in July. We took advantage of Jane and Tom's offer of four nights for the price of three which was excellent value. We were on holiday visiting nearby stately homes, Haddon, Chatsworth, Hardwick Hall and ( en route home), Calke Abbey. Our room (Lapwing) was spacious and had a very...

Hi, thanks for your comments, I think it was someone who was hard of hearing in the other room, so sorry that the TV was a bit loud. We've not had a problem before so hopefully it was just a one off! Enjoyed chatting with you both, enjoy the rest of your holiday. Jane and Tom

We found Nesfield cottage on the internet and what a wonderful find. Our room was spacious and very well furnished, spotlessly clean and welcoming. Likewise the en suite. Our hosts Jane and Tom were very helpful and informative of the area, and helped us find our way around. Lovely food, the homemade fruit bread was delightful. We hope to visit...

We picked this place for a 1 night stay on the strength of the reviews here - and we weren't disappointed! Turned up later than expected to a warm welcome from Tom and Jane, who helped us up to our room - the Skylark. A large double room with en-suite, beautifully appointed with a king-sized bed, plenty of storage (not...

Very much enjoyed my stay - comfortable bed, lovely room, excellent and caring hosts, beautifully cooked breakfast and so quiet....! I will be back when visiting Sheffield. Easy to get to Sheffield and Chesterfield and all the Derbyshire attractions.

Previously we had stayed as a couple but this time we had three rooms. The welcome was warm (with tea and home-made cake) and Tom helped with the luggage. On the Saturday night we had a very good meal at the local pub (recommended by Jane and Tom) which was within walking distance. As before, we found the standard throughout exceptionally...

We spent three nights with friends who had stayed at Nessfield Cottage previously. Wow, everything they had told us was exactly right. Tom and Jane are perfect, friendly hosts in their spotlessly clean home, good quality comfortable beds, irrestible delicious breakfasts, whilst watching the wildlife from the dining room window. There are deer and wildlife in adjacent fields to Nessfield...

We stayed for two nights at Nesfield Cottage and found it to be excellent in every way. Everything was of a high standard yet comfortable and a place to relax in. We enjoyed our stay in Lapwing, a spacious room with a very large and comfy bed, beautiful furnishings and a large bathroom. We were glad to have chosen the...

Thanks Sue, you're right there's lots to do in the area and Derbyshire is very beautiful (maybe I'm a bit biased!). You were great guests and it would be lovely to welcome you again. Jane

We only stayed the one night but it was excellent in all ways. The small touches make all the differences, such as a slice of cake on arrival! Great decor, views and facilities. The breakfast was amazing with healthy alternatives. Truly an amazing stay and would highly recommend. Can't wait to return!

We wanted to spend a few days exploring Derbyshire and it's stunning scenery, historic buildings etc. I spotted Nesfield as a place that had excellent write ups so I booked two nights. We also encouraged family members to join us and we duly arrived. Tom & Jane were the perfect hosts - the property is located in a peaceful lane...
