Peaceful and relaxing; an ideal spot to unwind for a few days and recharge. Margaret takes the utmost care with all aspects of her B&B & is a very warm & welcoming hostess. Her rooms are clean, tidy & well presented with an amazing array of added extras. I particularly liked the inclusion of a sticky clothes roller - so...

We stayed at Netherwood Lodge for two nights in July. The house is tucked away in a rural lane but is easily found in this lovely part of the country. We arrived later than anticipated and were provided with a very welcome cup of tea and home-made cake. We had a double room which overlooked the lovely garden and there...

What a wonderful week we recently spent, at this delightful cottage in East Sussex. Margaret Clarke, the warm, welcoming hostess, was a delight and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious, bed supremely comfortable and the garden an absolute treat. It was superb just sitting on a garden seat, just drinking it all in. Really magnificent! The local...

What a lovely B&B ! Margaret was so nice and accommodating, I really felt right at home. the garden was stunning, I just didn't want to go in and was happy to sit outside and enjoy the beauty of the flowers. It's probably the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. The room was big and squeaky clean, the bed...

A wonderful friendly hostess Mrs Clarke (Margaret) gave us a very warm welcome, comfortable beds and bedroom with attention to every detail and excellent breakfasts with lots of local produce and home-made jams and marmalades. The garden is a peaceful haven after strenuous days visiting some of the many National Trust properties in the area. Margaret is clearly very interested...

Superbly furnished and comfortable rooms, the real attraction of this B and B is the warm welcome from Margaret and her beautiful garden. We were able to do a long walk in the surrounding countryside and then enjoy a meal out at one of the local pubs recommended by Margaret. Highly recommended!

Warmly welcomed on our arrival, we were enveloped by the homely atmosphere and quiet elegance of the Lodge - our eye immediately drawn by the beautiful garden through the wide glass sliding doors. Every little touch enhanced our enjoyment - fresh flowers from the garden in vases here and there - in our room the last of the fragrant sweet...

We had an excellent week end at Netherwood Lodge. The room was beautifully decorated and in a very peaceful spot. The next morning we had a most delicious breakfast - the best breakfast I have ever eaten. I am in wheelchair, and the room worked out perfectly. I could get in and out and into bed with no problem .

This peaceful B&B is an immaculate little haven of tranquility with glorious gardens, delicious breakfast, and very friendly owner. Homemade cakes with tea on arrival, as well as homemade yoghurt, preserves, and bread at breakfast with lovely full english of local products. The whole place feels miles from anywhere, and yet close by many attractions such as Glyndbourne and South...
