A warm (but never intrusive) welcome and consistently lovely food - the ingredients clearly don't travel far to reach the kitchen. Great advice on where to go, walking routes and how much we could comfortably fit into each day. A truly relaxing and peaceful place.

Very friendly auberge, south of the Dordogne & in the heart of the bastides & cites medievales area. cosy, but comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The owners could not have been more helpful and informative. Love the "zebra crossing" to the terrace and join other reviewers in recommending the cold rose!

Ii's a long time since I reviewed this Auberge and I am pleased to say that it continues to provide good quality authentic local cuisine with excellent service. We sat on the terrace across the road from the main building and it was a beautiful evening. There is special kind of magic in the Dordogne sunset - sipping cold Rose...

We make sure we eat here every year, see previous reviews, and this year went twice. This restaurant is a “must visit” if you are in the area and like fine food. The first time we were out on the veranda and the second time, due to possible rain we were in the dining room which gives you a lovely...

Been hear before on our last trip to Constant and the food was as good as I remembered. Sat outside in the late sun for an aperitif and then dinner inside. Service was impecable and the food choice was impressive and good. We enjoyed it very much and will certainly return on our next trip to this stunning area.

Yes, this is one of my favo places when on holidays around dordogne. Middle of nowhere, fantastic couple in the driver seat, great set menus, kids friendly, relax. I will go back next week and any next holiday. English/french spoken. Go and enjoy.

Certainly easy to find, being the 1st thing you see when looking for Montferrand du Perigord. Bedroom, bathroom, parking, wifi all fine, nothing to criticise but nothing exceptional either. Dinner was also good without being special, perhaps a bit over-rated some reviewers. The local village does not demand much time to see, looking deserted but for a dog and a...

We didn't stay at the Auberge but just had to review their restaurant which was a treat to stumble across. It was a rare rainy day in September when we came upon this cosy establishment. Tastefully decorated the restaurant along with its friendly owners is welcoming and homely. The menu has a good selection of dishes and the set menus...

We return each year to savour Thierry's delicious food and Sarah's charnming and attentive front of house. I had been looking forward to the foie gras polee all holiday and it lived up to all my expectations. The rest of the food was uniformly excellent

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the end of May as part of a week long cycling trip in the Dordogne area. Sarah & Thierry were very welcoming. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. Without a car we were restricted to eating at Lou Peyrol, which meant we were able to sample the wonderful meals prepared...
