We were in West Cumbria to play golf at the wonderful Sescale GC and despite having matters to attend to up the road in St Bees, we chose the Sella Park. How fortunate we were. Exceptionally courteous and helpful staff. Dog (very) friendly. Very nice...More
We have just married on 24th March 2018 at Sella Park Country House Hotel. It was amazing. A lot of our guests arrived on the Friday afternoon/early evening where we had a delightful hot/cold buffet. The evening was so relaxed and the staff were amazing....More
Stayed here again over the Easter weekend.
Good sized room and well behaved dog welcome to stay in there as well. Massive King sized bed with separate bathroom. Clean and fresh with character as this is a very old building with very thick walls!
Brilliant hotel, such friendly staff, even tho it was the first time we'd been there it felt like real friends! Had a few problems with our transport but they couldn't've been more helpful! Lovely food, tho only had one evening meal, but the snack sandwiches...More

Actually I think there is, we certainly had drinks brought up. The staff with in the Pennington group are wonderful, and Deb's I believe is at the Sella Park and she is so good! In fact there isn't a kinder or more fantastic group of young people both willing and able to help, and are kindness personified, as there is, within this hotel group we wouldn't stay any where else for Christmas (Pennington Hotel Ravenglass) and for our Wedding Aniversary the Sella Park room 2 is just fabulous, the food is out of this world in both hotel's, just the view's differ but are equally exceptional the Inn at Ravenglass if noted for its fish specialities, The Boot Inn for its bar meal's and fab view over the fell's. The Pooley Bridge also has a very exceptional welcome for the visitor. Hope I've helped you, and have a wonderful stay, why not call in to see the Boonwood Garden Centre's Christmas Display, or visit Muncaster Castle and the La'al Ratty at Ravenglass.
