We were in one of the trout beck units. 3 bedrooms downstairs. Lounge, dining room/ kitchen upstairs. Very well furnished, very comfortable Can highly recommend it. Nice restaurant, good selection of food on the menu.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whitbarrow Village. Our cottage was part of the original farm buildings and full of character (other apartments and houses are new but are attractive and in keeping with the setting). Bar and restaurant are very good. Did not try the pool. Half way between Penrith and Keswick so well located for visiting the Lakes... More

Another thoroughly enjoyable stay at Whitbarrow, ideally situated between Keswick and Penrith. the accommodation is excellent. the staff very pleasant and there is a good restaurant and bar with Sky sports for those of us unable to go without our football! A lovely pool with steam room and sauna, and a jacuzzi with fine views of the Pennines.

The accomodation we got is so outdated and not clean at all. We even found other people's hair in the bedroom. The bathroom is terrible as well that I had to go to the swimming pool and take shower there everyday for convenience. At the end, we decided to shortern our holiday trip as it is suffering to stay in... More

We spent a late Autumn weeks break at Whitbarrow. Our accommodation was ready for us on time, was very clean and comfortable. There was good quality central heating which on a couple of frosty mornings was particularly welcome. We had a really enjoyable week, ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely and far better value than one of... More

Great place to stay. Easy to visit places around the Lake District. Restaurant was excellent, great food and really polite and friendly staff. Would recommend it to other visitors, we dined in every night as the menu was so good and varied.

Over complicated oven. Generally well stocked with stuff but not enough casserole dishes. Liked the hot tub, wifi and TVs. Take kitchen towels. Warm lovely bath and showers nice patio but too cold to use it.

We spent Monday to Friday at this wonderful resort. Have been there before and with the updates to the dining area, it is even better. The trees around the property were looking like Fall in USA. The staff did a good job keeping the walkways clear of leaves. The leisure centre was again really relaxing. Making use of the pool,... More

Whitbarrow resort has to be one of the jewels in the Seasons crown. It is so peaceful and just the place to use as a base to explore the Northern Lakes. The restaurant serves excellent food with 'specials' every day. Do visit the Lakes Distillery (their products are served in the bar) and enjoy an evening at the Lakes Theatre... More
