A great place to relax and enjoy yourself well suited for days out in Lakes. Only criticism is they spoilt the lounge by turning it round with the resteraunt and losing the dance floor and big screen.this comment is a personal one from using Whitbarrow for many years. It is lovely place with excellent staff and good service

We had the usual happy break at Whitbarrow, complete with snow on the last morning! The lodges are roomy and wellequipped and leisure facilities good but sad to see the pool table had disappeared. Looking forward to our next visit.

Another visit to Whitbarrow this time with our extended family to celebrate my 70th birthday.Thoughly enjoyed by all. Stayed in one of the Park Collection units plus one of the Kirkstone houses which came up to our expectations in terms of quality & facilities.

We had a wonderfully relaxing break, The accommodation is well equipped, it's lovely and clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. 15 miles to the west is Keswick which it's very touristy. 6 miles to the east is Penrith, which is motorway accessible (M6 junction 40), There are so many lakes to visit, I felt so spoilt for choice.

Recently had a mid-week break at Whitbarrow Village between Penrith and Keswick, in the Lake District. Our self-catering accommodation was in a terraced house and consisted of 3 double bedrooms, master ensuite, with a seperate bathroom upstairs and an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge downstairs, with a seperate toilet. The kitchen was well fitted with an electric cooker,...

We had three cottages/apartments for a family weekend, they were all a little dated and tired and in need of spruce up. Random pictures not in keeping with the character of the properties had been put up in a half hearted attempt at brightening the apartments, our bedroom was cold, no blankets for beds, and a radiator at the back...

A gorgeous little village of cobbled streets and stone cottages, houses, appartments - doesn't feel like a holiday village, feels like a real country village. Celebrating a birthday in the family and arranged with the hotel to have a cake on the table in our cottage on arrival- Thanks! Great facilities - restaurant, bar, pool and other leisure facilities -...
