Great value for money, fabulous welcome, lovely tasteful house, safe storage for bicycle. Beautiful sea views, comfortable room, beautiful dining room and a breakfast too die for. Lots of local knowledge from the friendly owner. And it loved Ted the dog.

From arrival we were made to feel welcome. Comfy lounge, Sky TV, easy parking, great sea views, great rooms, great breakfast and great with our 2 dogs. A walk along the wind swept front blew the work cobwebs away.

I was made to feel very welcome and at home as I was travelling on my own this was important to me,I could relax in the lounge and treat it like home. The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful, they directed me to areas that they knew I would enjoy e,g Wigtown for bird watching and book shops.I... More

Warm & gracious hosts, warm & comfortable accommodation plus the best cooked breakfast. Only stayed one night but could easily have stayed longer. Lovely big house & beautiful location on the coast. Highly recommended.

This is located a ten minute walk into the centre of Port William. The front rooms have stunning sea views. The breakfasts are delicious - porridge amazing. Tim and Hilary are friendly hosts and provide a warm, cosy home from home experience. I enjoyed every minute.

Loved this B & B. Hilary and Tim are the best hosts. Very friendly and made us feel right at home. It was the extras such as putting our half finished bottle of wine into their fridge to cool until we needed it. Nice touch Tim. Breakfast also yummy - scrambled eggs are perfect. Loved the size of the room... More

Struggled to find it after losing phone signal on Sat nav but glad we did as what a gem it is. Full of character and the views are amazing. Tim and Hilary couldn't be nicer and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing and set you up for the day. Will be back soon.

Tim and Hilary provided a very warm welcome to their charming B&B which overlooks the bay. A delicious breakfast, comfortable room with wifi, tea and coffee making facilities and even a bath robe. Would definitely recommend and I look forward to returning.

Lovely large room, spotlessly clean, great views of sea and binoculars provided. Fresh milk and homemade shortbread appreciated. The house is very austere on the outside, it would have been lovely to see some colourful hanging baskets or tubs of flowers. It was a shame that Hilary was away as I think the welcome would have been warmer, although Tim... More

Thanks for posting this review, we appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback. Lovely location, great accommodation, a friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. Port William is about 15 minutes from Wigtown through beautiful countryside. Definitely intend to return. Had a great walk with the dog on the beach in the morning.
