Good place for its price for a family stay. Staff and owners are very friendly and helpful, room cleaning is good. Room and furniture weren't new, but in good condition. Located far from shops and entrance to village, so it's better to have a car. For me it was too noisy due to old fridge and a/c, sleeping without earplugs wasn't comfortable.
Stayed Feb 29 - Mar 7, 2020 This gated community was a pleasant surprise. We stayed in Condo #3 which was very spacious with two bedrooms, and , two full bathrooms. The kitchen had all that was needed for cooking with a large fridge, gas stove top and microwave. The main bedroom was outfitted with a King size bed which was very comfortable. The second bedroom had two Queen size beds. The unit had a safe in the clothes closet which was secure and quite easy to use. The patio door opened to a table with 4 chairs for each unit. The pool was more than ample in size and was kept clean by the staff that tested and cleaned the pool every two days. Made us feel comfortable enjoying the pool. The Condo is on a canal, which leads to the ocean, which can be accessed by kayaks supplied by the condo. The managers Karla and Faby met all of our needs to the best of their ability. Both very pleasant to deal with. The cleaning staff were excellent and kept our Condo in spotless condition. They came in upon our request and did an amazing job. The community is large, and to get around , you can rent a car, a golf cart, or walk. We walked and probably went 5 - 8 kms a day. A safe place to walk during the day or at night. There is plenty to see and do. There is a large marina, a swim with the dolphins, a park, golf course convenience store and many restaurants and bars. Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a local “market” that has fresh produce, fruit, baked goods, and fresh seafood. A short drive takes you to the large supermarket, ‘Chedraui”, which carries everything from food, clothes, and liquor as well as other items. Our week was great. We felt safe at all times and would definitely return. A great community for someone looking for a lengthy winter vacation. Here are a couple of observations The patio chairs need to be replaced. They are old and do not match The sitting area under the thatched roof needs refurbishing. Looks dirty and uncared for The games room needs to be cleaned painted and updated. There is a musty smell that lingers in the room all the time The kayaks do not have back supports. The one that was there was broken There are no life jackets There are only Spanish channels. We could not access any English news. The wifi is only accessible when you are outside the office. It does not work in the rooms…
Small complex with a nice pool in the middle. Kitchen items were a little scarce, but once you ask for things, they will bring them. Karla and Fabi were really friendly and helpful. It's about 15 min walk to the restaurants and dolphin place and 5 min walk to a small, private beach.
Very well equipped. Close to the beach and a very nice swimming pool. The only down side is the large amount of mosquitoes- probably because of the lagoon next to the location. Apart from that I would definitely recommend this apartment.
This is a very small complex and staff was not often available. Unit was clean and well appointed. Good size for 6. We were pleased with the area although there was no beach to use with out paying. We drove to area beaches and loved the scenery, snorkeling and diving nearby. Easy access to great dining options.
