Hotel Ben-Zaa... has 32 clean, comfortable rooms, with balconies, ocean view and poolside rooms, gorgeous rooftop views of the entire town, garden areas with palapas, both child and adult swimming pools and enclosed parking. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the airport, shopping and four beaches. The Hotel courtyard features the charming Restaurant-Bar Escondido, where International chef Steve Posing creates his masterpieces, allowing diners the choice of Mexican or North American cuisine.
Still a good value and happy hour maggies. Sadly Steve passed away in a motorcycle accident in the mountains and the kitchen has sufferes. Clashes with family forced cooks to quit. Food is limited and passable.
Very dated and run down looking. The other reviews were so favorable we were surprised to read them. Overpriced for what it was. Must have seen better days. It does sound like there is a lively gathering happy hour.
