We arrived at Tubbs Mill House and was so warmly welcomed by the lady of the house, Denise, who served us tea and coffee. Vic came along and served us his homemade cake. Our accommodation on two levels, a beautiful bathroom and dressing room on first floor and our bedroom and lovely toilet/vanity room was on the floor above which...

Stayed whilst on business, fairly isolated in the middle of the countryside. The host was a lovely lady who took a real pride in the local produce that she used. I was offered tea and a cake when I arrived, which was a nice touch. The bedroom was lovely and comfy and the breakfast was delicious. It is off the...

This is probably the most quirkiest place my wife and I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Quirky as in the house décor and layout and quirky in relation to the wonderful Denise. We booked in for 3 nights due to our attending a local wedding and the after wedding festivities. We were immediately made most welcome with...

We were welcomed with a cup of tea and cake. Denise and Vic were brilliant hosts. The only word for Vic's breakfasts -amazing. They were able to tell us the coastal routes to walk and where to eat. We had so much fun with them. We'll be definitely going back there.

We have just spent six days here with the owners,Denise and Vic. It's not easy to find amongst the high hedges of Cornish lanes, but well worth the adventure. The 300 year old cottage has been lovingly restored to way beyond its former glory and the interiors are straight out of the pages of 'House and Garden'. The feeling of...

An old cottage nestling in the bottom of a valley next to a stream and duckpond on the Roseland peninsular. The building has idiosyncratic decor with comfortable rooms set in a terrific garden. Charming hosts Denise and Victor are very attentive and serve a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended

We stopped at Tubbs Mill House on our way home from a few days away. We were greeted at the front door by Denise and Vic who instantly made us feel incredibly welcome. The cottage is simply stunning and has been beautifully and tastefully restored. We were first given tea (and offered home made cake) which was served in the...

Tubbs Mill House is the gingerbread cottage from the fairy tale. Run by the delightful Denise and Vic, it is an old converted mill house set on the Roseland Peninsula in the depths of rural Cornwall. There are ducklings on the pond, chickens on the path and the cottage has its own well. My German friends and I spent two...

Tubbs Mill is a very old property, beautifully decorated and maintained by its current owners. We had a lovely en-suite room, unusually on two levels, which gave us lots of space. There is also a guest sitting room available all the time and unlimited tea/coffee/biscuits available all the time. Vic and Denise are very hospitable, with a warm welcome from...
