Two of us stayed at St Benet's for two nights. Pleasantly surprised with quality of the rooms, especially the massive bed! JJ very organised and friendly which was a plus 😏 great breakfast. Lanivet town clean and friendly but small and a little quiet if you're looking for stuff to do in the evening! All in all a very good...

St. Benet's Abbey was built in 1411 and staying in such an old and historic building in such a beautiful setting added greatly to our vacation. Our spacious room was spotless and the large poster bed extremely comfortable. We had decided to stay in the Bodmin area for a few days and take day trips out to some of the...

Thank you for your informative and positive review. As you have pointed out unfortunately not all guests are as considerate and respectful as you and some things need to be explicitly called out. Our guest information is in every room and includes polite requests to ensure that the guest experience is comfortable for everyone. We cannot tell whether guests will...

Historical abundance with amazing owners. Spend a bob or two in the bar and have a warm chat with the current owners JJ and Lynne and little daughter Faith. They've completely turned around this lovely historical abbey into a wonderful B&B. Plenty of love and money spent to date which now shows the hidden treasures around the site. Even got...

We stayed here on the first night of a 3 day trip touring south Cornwall. In hindsight, I wish we had stayed her for all 3 nights. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a room described by the host JJ as the 'playroom'. A large double room with a massive wooden framed four poster bed. Although the bathroom was...

Family run and fantastic customer service. Highly recommend 😀 Room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was luxurious and good quality products to use. Local produce sourced for breakfast. You will skip lunch after the mass of food on offer for breakfast.

We were warmly greeted by Lynn when we arrived at St.Benet's Abbey. The family room which we booked just for the 2 of us - as we like to have room to move about and seperate beds. We had 2 rooms with an ajoining door, which we kept open, except when hubby was snoring!! It was very clean, the staff...

Great place to stay, if decorations are a little tired. J.J. and wife made us very welcome. Excellent breakfast and a comfortable bed. Local pub and fish and chip shop walking distance down the road. Easy reach of Bodmin ,Eden Project and Nation Trust properties.

I have just stayed at this wonderful B&B with my wife and 3 year old daughter. The location is excellent being just 2 minutes from the A30 yet the setting is quiet with beautiful woodland behind. The building is full of history with parts 600 years old and our bedroom had a view of the ruins of the abbey located...

Wonderful little spot outside of Bodmin. Our room and a quaint 'an suite' bedroom for our 7 year old. Great rooms with full amenities. Breakfast is a Huge plus +++ JJ is the landlord and will try and accommodate request. The bar has some great whiskeys 👍. My family would surly stay again & wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
