it´s ok to stay a night but it´s too noisy ! I’ve made my reservation with booking.com but never appeared, they didn´t accept credit card at that time so I had to walk in the middle of the night and rain to search for an...More
This hotel is sub-standard in every category: ugly, dirty, mismatched furniture, disgusting towels and linens, dangerous lighting, whining bathroom fans, sewer smells. There isn't anything redeeming about El Hotelito, and there are many other choices in the beautiful city of Puebla.
You get what you came for, basically. The rooms are wide and well-equiped (mine has TV, Microwave oven, freezer etc), the beds are confortable, the wi-fi is good too. There is a somewhat cheap cafe on the side to fill in your food needs and...More
Four blocks away from central square (cathedral, restaurants, etc.) Not so quiet but quiet enough to get some sleep. You get for what you pay (3 stars) but a very good hotel for a short stay. Highly recommended.

Bring warm pyjamas and an extra blankets, just in case. I stayed in March and was very comfortable since the beds have good blankets but it never got that cold at night. I'm not sure about double beds but the staff is very good for responding to emails so don't hesitate to ask. Who knows, if you really remind them they might even have a space heater available for you but that's only a guess on my part. My advice is get in touch with them, stay in touch, get clear answers and concessions but prepare for the worst. Still, it is a decent little hotel and I hope you enjoy your time there.
