Unless you insist on a pool there's no reason to stay anywhere else. Let's start with the history of the building as a convent and the amazing amount of preservation throughout the hotel and even the rooms. Every room is unique, the beds/pillows are comfortable, and the amenities are fabulous. We were in room 300 and it was huge with...

Love staying at converted homes or missions, of which Mexico has many. Service was excellent, staff accommodating. Beds comfortable. Bathroom space slightly small (think cruise ship size), but very clean. Food was tasty and location was great.

I recently attended a conference in Puebla, and stayed at the Quinta Real. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the minute you walk through the doors you are transformed to another place and time. The hotel is a converted convent that was built in 1593! The company that purchased it in the 1980's I think, took great...

We spent 4 nights at the Quinta Real Puebla. The hotel is a converted convent and is beautiful. Architecture at every corner. Our room was really nice. The property is within walking distance to the Zocalo. We ate breakfast (not included) every morning at the hotel during our stay. We ordered off the menu and also had the breakfast buffet...

Located in what was once a convent in the XVI century it has great architectural taste. Excellent location, excellent service, excellent decoration, as a city hotel. Many activities can be done on foot. It also has parking.

I had stayed in this hotel when it was a Camino Real a few years ago; the change to Quinta Real has shifted it up a notch or two. It is a fine old colonial building, interestingly labyrinthine with lots of small (and large) patios and good thick walls (to keep out both heat and noise). Very well located in...

A converted monastery in the heart of a beautiful provincial town - what more could you ask for? Quinta Real is a beautiful hotel with lovely, comfortable rooms. However for a 5 star hotel I was very disappointed in the poor service encountered at nearly every step of the way. Check in was slow (even after taking lunch some rooms...

Beautiful historic ex convent in the heart of everything. Secure off street parking and the most amazing breakfast buffet. The rooms have great beds and all the 5 star amenities. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Ask for a room not facing the street as they can be a bit noisy. It's our favorite place to stay...
