Nothing super good or super bad. I found a beautiful bathrobe in my room. When I went back the next day to see if I could buy one, reception told me "We don't have any bathrobes in the rooms." Very mysterious.

The front desk asked if we would like a room that overlooked the heart of the historic area. They were happy to show us before we decided. It was definitely worth the upgrade as the view was very special of the Cathedral lite up at night and its surrounding park with tour buses and vendors. Great location for everything and...

I have to say first that the service was very good, the staff all very polite and kind, that makes up for the things I found to be deficient and could be improved easily by this perfectly located hotel in the historical center of Morelia. 1. my hotel key (electronic card) NEVER worked more than once or twice, i had...

Built to last, this hotel, with stone floors. A man showed me how to turn on the TV and the heater (in person!). The heater, haha, at 70 degrees, he thought it was chilly. It's just nice here. People are friendly and polite. Beautiful colonial building. Atrium with nobody else in sight. I typed at my computer for hours in...

Well, let me say that the hotel is divided in two, the new-old area and the old-new area. What do I mean with this: it is that the front of the Hotel that you see on the picts is the new-old area meaning that it is the new infrastructure bullt more than ten years ago and in the part the...

It seems like it. There's the new front section, which is supposed to be nice. There's a section in the back, where we stayed our first night (Room 414), which had peeling paint, a bad mold smell, and the general feel of a one star motel. Then there's the colonial section, where we stayed our second night. Pleasant old-fashioned rooms...

I have been traveling to Morelia regularly for work and Alameda has become my hotel of choice for overall value. Rooms are clean, some have nice views, rooms in rear are quieter, updated rooms in front are great but not my style and noiser on busy street. I have been quite pleased with the junior suite, colonial charm, spacious, desk...

My wife and I were looking for a change of pace from our hotel's breakfast and so we scoured places one morning and landed here. I was really surprised by some of the negative reviews but maybe they are dated. These guys are on it! It is a beautifully renovated colonial building with a garden area. We sat next to...
