Ideal place to spend the weekend or longer if required .Situated at Point Lookout the apartments were very spacious with 3 bedrooms and full kitchen and a large balcony. Takes a bit of finding initially as the rooms are not numbered 1 to whatever in order but found room eventually. Pool not overly big but it does have a spa...

Fantastic views. They did stuff our booking but we still had a good view. Lovely environment with wildlife. Not far from the beach. Will be returning again but if you are looking for a resort its not. It is a good self contained holiday accommodation which is roomy with plenty of space. You won't find a true resort on stradbroke...

Thank you for taking the time to review our accommodation. We do have a lovely pool area, games room and gym, and yes you are correct in saying that we are more self contained holiday accommodation. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future and we always offer our return guests a discount if booked directly with us.

School holiday visit - the management were incredibly accomodating and the pool was just the right temperature. Clean and large rooms. So close to everywhere in walking distance of beaches. Shops and cafes. Would recommend it. Very reasonable rates and fully self contained. Every appliance you would need. Terrific maintenance team and very knowledgeable team on all there is to...

The Whale Watch Resort is located on a stunning point where you can watch the migration of the whales. The gentle ocean breezes and magnificent views instantly relax you. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff very accommodating and friendly. I loved the fact that every morning the kangaroo would greet me at the back door and the beautiful gorge...

The view from this apartment (Whale Watch 40) is truly great, but don't expect much else for the money (paid upfront). This individual apartment is shabby in a mean way: each piece of meanness not a deal-breaker in itself, but taken as a litany it seems contemptuous. The towel-rails are made of strange, discoloured old plastic, one shower stall doesn't...

We were absolutely thrilled upon arrival - the apartment was modern, clean, spacious, light & airy and exceeded expectations. We had very little to do with management as everything went incredibly smoothly. My only recommendation would be to introduce a recycling facility as I would hate for the stunning island to be struggling with the unnecessary litter from tourists. But...

Thank you for taking the time to review our resort. So happy to hear that you had a wonderful time. Wifi is available free in reception only at this stage and we are happy to say that we are expecting our recycling bin within the next few weeks. The location is gorgeous! It is in Point Lookout, which I would say is the main hub for tourists/visitors to Stradbroke Island, but it was a little away from the main hub which made it an excellent location. Close enough to be useful, but quiet and peaceful at the same time. Being located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac...
