Stayed for 4 nights for the wairoa show as my daughter was an equestrian competitor. We also stayed here last year. The units are very clean and everything you need as well as an awesome shower, (most important when you dealing with horses all day). Plenty of space although this is not your most modern units, its reflected in price....

Friendly host meals are available but we catered for ourselves with a nice kitchen. Large room well heated and comfortable. Our second stay and the lodge had been upgraded ideal for a motoring stay at a reasonable price.

Friendly welcome but that's about it. Location is OK. Wairoa needs help though. A dilapidated town in a beautiful location of New Zealand. The Vista Motorlodge offers basic accommodation. Go for a nice experience to the Eastend Cafe in town for great coffee, breakfast and service.

We were a group of four adults that stayed here in October and thought it was really reasonable for what we paid. Due to our limited time staying we missed out using the pool and spa though it is not often I have come across those facilities when paying $120. The single beds were an odd set up in the...

Room was freezing, no electric blanket, TV was from the ARC with vertical hold scrolling throughout the viewing experience. We were charged far more than the night was worth. On the good side the bath was good with plenty of hot water

It's a nice place to breathe Wairoa's spirit along the river. Steps away from biz areas--Marine Parade including bakery & cafe and laundromat. It's a good spot for both individual, group of family stay. With its reasonable price ranges, Vista is popular for its lasting business and easy access for anyone passing from Gisborne and Napier/ Hastings.
