This 5 star review is for the staff at the site and for the beautiful Mersea Island. The staff were all kind, friendly and helpful and at times went beyond the call of duty. Out caravan was bronze standard - cheap and cheerful. Fine for us. I happily moved the strewn fag ends at the front of the caravan but...

I was advised that Coopers Beach would allow non residents to use their pool for a charge. I arrived with the family to enquire. Waited a while to be served, one member of staff was making small talk with presumably a guest and another was busy at the counter. No one acknowledged me. Eventually I was seen, but cut off...

Just returned from a three-night mini-break at Coopers Beach. The location is idyllic, quiet and well off the beaten track. The newly-refurbished entertainments complex offers a comfortable outside terrace with lovely views across the water, where you can sit out and enjoy a drink or food on a nice day. Our caravan was a 'Silver Plus' but we were a...

So... I booked this based on the entertainment that was advertised and provided for children.... at the time of booking, I wasn't informed at all that entertainment would be limited due to being off peak. We arrived at reception to a 'forced' welcome. Given the keys along with our entertainment passes and was on our way. The lodge itself was...

Just came back from a weekend here and had a lovely family time. Stayed in a bronze caravan which was older but clean and tidy as well as bigger than I expected. Site was very clean. The club house was very good as was the food. We did have to wait but the children were with the entertainment which they...

We really enjoyed our mid term weekend mini break. Although there weren't many school age children around all the activities continued to run. We were really impressed with the entertainment team, Amy and Jess, who put in huge effort to ensure the children had a great time. The team star junior session was a highlight. There were a couple of...

We stayed in the bronze caravan it was fantstic. The food was amazing and alway's hot. Kid's meal's great value for money. Everybody was super friendly. Beach was great even though it was a pebble beach. The kid's entertainment was shocking, repetative and the staff apart from the ginger haired bloke were dull and shouldnt work with kid's. Amy who...

We booked a gold standard caravan which was spacious and adequate for us. The caravan looked clean on appearance however when we made use of the fold out bed in the lounge there was crisps between the cushions and and old bed sheet from the previous occupant. One of the spare duvets were full of bodily stains and mould! Thankfully...
