Good morning sir. We think all this was a misunderstanding. The food and beer you are talking about was already open and started, and because another misunderstanding we thought you left your room and were not coming back. So we thought it was better to...More
The sculptured birds and tastefully landscaped grounds made studying for my Spanish classes actually enjoyable. The staff are particularly helpful. Kenneth helped me with my homework and Oscar planned excursions for my husband and his brother.

Pros: cleaner than most, spacious, decently well-equipped, friendly staff, comfortable beds.
Cons: poor room lighting, poor internal decorations, prices don't include taxes, small TVs, small beds, rooms not very well ventilated (thus developing a funny smell, not too bothersome though).

There is a courtyard with a grassy area and some artwork and there is a picnic table where you could sit outside and read. There is also an outdoor patio with some tables and chairs next to the breakfast area where you could sit. There is a lot of open space so I think you could probably find a spot to enjoy the nice weather. Also if you walk out of the hotel parking lot and turn left, it is a very short walk to the main campus for UCR and there are lots of grassy areas, benches, etc. to enjoy on campus. To find out about the cancellation policy, I would advise that you email the hotel directly. They were prompt in replying to my questions prior to our trip.
