Resort is located about an hour from the airport, grounds are nicely kept and clean. They don't suggest swimming in the ocean due to the strong current but many people did (water was really cold!). They had 4 pools, 3 of which had swim up bars.. pool water was always cold earlier in the day and warmed up towards the...

We stayed April 7 - 11. It was a very nice resort. The grounds were well kept. The food & drinks were excellent. The biggest drawback is the beach is non- swimable. I did walk down to the marina one morning & did find some water that was about chest deep & fairly calm. We were on the 4th floor...

This is the second time i have been to this hotel. The first time was great, but this time i noticed a trend to the downside which probably due to the changes to Cabo in general. In Cabo stores are shutting down and the military is all over the place. First off i paid for an ocean view but the...

Where do I begin? We chose Riu Santa Fe as our hotel for our honeymoon destination and from day one it was a nightmare. People staying at this resort have no courtesy for others trying to sleep at 3am and nothing gets done about it. The illegal drug use in this establishment (excluding marijuana) is a disgrace. On our last...

This hotel is very nice. It is a large resort so keep that in mind.the beach is nice but the waves are pretty rough. They have jet skis you can rent on the beach. One other thing you can do is take a boat to lovers island. The pool is large and pretty nice. The pool side bar has good...

We chose to stay here for our honeymoon because for similar price we were able to upgrade to the master suite and boy was it well worth it. The value was enough to make us want to return. For the price of a low floor standard room closer to town, we had our own jacuzzi and gazebo on the roof...

I'm actually writing this review on our second to last night after listening to a fist fight in the room next door. This was after the domestic violence incident we heard down the hall two nights ago. Good luck trying to get anyone at the front desk or security after 7pm. As a retired police officer I was hoping they...

We are a retired couple in our late 60’s and our first time at the RIU Santa Fe in Cabo San Lucas, although we have been to San Jose Del Cabo a few years ago and enjoyed it very much. This time around we booked the week after the March spring break period (April 3-10). Listening to the stories of...

My husband and I travel extensively to the Caribbean and although Riu Santa Fe is a nice enough hotel, the experience being there at the end of March with the spring breakers left a bad enough taste, we would not return to this particular hotel. Even travelling away from spring break time, I'm sure the experience would have been better...
