Great facilities, polite staff, and clean rooms. Washroom access is horrible near the pools as there is seriously one washroom in the area. I felt so bad for the cleaning lady who was constantly cleaning the washroom throughout the day!! The weather does get quite extreme so i do recommend bringing a lot of sunscreen and avoiding the sun at...

We stayed March 12-18. Lots of college kids there but didn't bother us too much, but sometimes at 2:30am they were noisy going back to their rooms. The one thing that mostly bothered me is not enough bathrooms close to the pools. If did it over i would take a lower room in building 3 just so we has a...

The hotel looks like a medieval European coastal town -- spacious and airy -- with the central square, picturesque courtyards, various fountains, statues, bushes and beaches. The cuisine is various, creative and fine. The lobbies of the buildings are well designed. The rooms are pleasant, comfortable and clean. The staff is amazingly friendly, helpful and efficient without being intrusive. The...

We stayed here for 4 nights and found that this place has the best bang for its buck. The place had tons of pools that could offer quiet refuge or a hopping party scene. The rooms were very nice although you don't spend much time there. We have stayed in more expensive places in Cabo but don't see a reason...

I'll start by saying the resort is beautifully kept and HUGE! We booked 2 ocean view rooms and the pic is what we received (Definitely NOT ocean view) We complained to the front desk as well as having our travel agent complain and we were told we could get new rooms in 2 days. Fine...we sucked it up for the...

Noise, disruption and destruction much worse than I recall from University residence years. We've been told it is apparently not just like this for March break but all year. If you want to party 24/7 this is your place...if not then stay clear. Witnessed some very dangerous situations with drunk young adults, alcohol poisoning, and severe accidents. Here is a...

stayed at the RIU from Feb. 12th to 19th and honestly, we had an amazing time. Keeping reading for a detailed, honest review. THE RESORT The resort itself was lovely. VERY clean. The staff were always cleaning; scrubbing the wall, the pathways outside - it was very nice to see that. And they were all SO friendly. A staff member...

We went with high expectations and were very disappointed. We were told it wasn't a party resort but parties went all night long (next door until 6am), yelling on the walkways as they came back from 24 hour bar, bodies lying all over from being passed out drunk at 4pm as they come back from the beach bar. In our...

We just got back from our trip, at the Riu with our young kids. I have never seen the extensive partying and drinking like I did at this resort. This is spring break mania at this hotel, we did not get a one full night of sleep while staying at this resort, due to the excessive partying. We called security...

We were at the Santa Fe Mar 9-16, 2017. It is a very big resort. The main hotel and units 1-6 are not really ocean side. They are behind the Riu Palace which is on the shore. Unit 7 is the only part of the Santa Fe that is on the water. Depending on where your room is you could...
