I had a massage at Azul Wellness Center and my therapist Alejandro was the excellent. I am also a massage therapist and I was impressed with his training, expertise and willingness to listen to. - and accommodate - my issues. I highly recommend the Spa and this therapist in particular. Session was on December 8. Thanks so much for excellent care.
The resort is beautiful. Alfonso Ruiz was extremely kind and professional. My only issues were the cost of food & beverages was overly expensive and there should be a shuttle service for guests to travel to the cities.
This resort is amazing! The views were unreal, the food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and helpful! Rolando was wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay great! Would 10/10 recommend! Doesn’t get more beautiful than this!
This is a new resort and is really nicely done. I will say this resort is geared towards an older crowd. The resort doesn't really have lively entertainment like other resorts I've been to. There is only one bar on the entire resort property that is located in the lobby. The pool has a restaurant but no bar. Although we received excellent service, the waiters at the pool seemed stretched thin and it took a lot of time to just flag someone down for a drink or food. The infinity pool by the beach is the hot spot. Although the resort says you can only reserve lounge chairs for an hour, this is not true. Even getting to the pool at 8am, everyone has put stuff on chairs and disappear for hours. This really should be enforced as I saw people not show up till well after noon to sit by the pool but had stuff on the chairs at 7am. The food in all the restaurants was ok. Really wish there was a buffet for lunch instead of relying on just the limited menu of the italian restaurant and the pool snack bar. Be aware that from the moment you walk in the door they will try to sell you a timeshare and membership. It was really annoying. I also would add that while the room was amazing and so nice, the bathroom is all rooms and suites is open plan. I really wish there was more privacy in the bathroom. The shower doors aren't even frosted for privacy and the tub is literally out in the open space with just a mere wooden frame with holes in it to divide the room. Not exactly privacy. Overall it's a nice resort but wouldn't go back as it caters to much older crowd. …
Generally the hotel was good, however multiple things went wrong in our trip. 1) our reservation for two queen suite which actually doesn't exist. There is one king and one sofa bed suite. So be aware of your bookings. Also if you are two families that want to have suites next to each other, that is not really an option. It is better to have one suite with an attached room to accommodate up to 8 people in a suite. We were two families of 3 people with a child who wished two ocean-view suites next to each other, but we were not accommodated. Also, do not pay extra for ocean view rooms. One of the room was actually pool view, but since it was on the third floor, was considered ocean view. So be aware. 2) We found the staff to be rude at times, which is rather surprising. In one occasion, some guy repeatedly accused us of lying for something rather trivial. I brought that up to a couple people there, yet we were barely acknowledged and no one really apologized for that poor experience. On another occasion, when we were checking out, we asked for late checkout, we were denied, then we tried to checkout early, the whole bill was wrong. Initially they denied the bill is wrong with lots of attitude, and then we later granted that late checkout, and when we came back for the second time everything was corrected. The experience was very unpleasant and unnecessarily hectic. That was our 3rd time in Los Cabos. I would suggest Garza Balanca over Villa la Valencia. They are very similar hotels, but our experience at Garza was way better. That was in fact the reason we chose Villa la Valencia, but I wish we went back to Garza Balnca.…
We spent 6 days, great room, good (not great food), best was the steakhouse Latitud. Staff kept apologizing for being understaffed coming out of the pandemic. They seemed to have enough staff, but had minor issues with middle management and systems. There were corporate execs on site who appeared to be actively addressing these issues. Significantly further out from Cabo compared to del Arco/ del Par Mar if that matters. We only went into Cabo once for the sunset sailing experience so that was not an issue for us. We did receive a member upgrade, but spoke with a couple who were 4-Star Elite members who did not. Staff who delivered TOP NOTCH service: Omar & Javier are the dynamic duo at Coralle and are a ton of fun!, Alberto at El Patron, Jorge poolside, & Javier - Bellman.…
We have had an amazing week at Villa La Valencia beach resort and spa in Los Cabos! The resort is clean, new and luxurious. We ate several times at each restaurant. At Latitud the steak house, we were greeted and seated by Diana. She was pleasant and courtious to our family of 5. Our waiter Angel was polite and took amazing care of us over several meals we had there. He made several great suggestions for meal and drink choices. He put on a cool show when he made us a Mexican coffee, a must do when your here. Thanks Angel! We spent a ton of time down at the infinity pool that looked out over the ocean, wow what a view! We saw hump back whales almost every day right from our lounges. The waiters and waitresses that served and took care of us there were also amazing at there jobs. A couple take special mention. Diane was a pleasure to get to know and she went way out of her way to make us feel comfortable and taken care of!! Enrique and the guy's worked so hard with entertainment around the pool. They got everyone involved and were a bunch of laughs several times throughout the day. Lastly we want to make special mention of Martin at La Taberna Italian restaurant. He and his group also took good care of us. All the fine details are thought about. His mobile bar tender (sorry don't have a name) was a bunch of fun too. Great memories all made here with our family at Villa La Valencia. Can't wait to come back again!! …

Beach walks were amazing Great Staff Thank you all for giving us such a memorable holiday Laura,Javier,Kevin,Enrique,Benjamin,Alma,Yoali, Alfonso!
I stayed at Villa La Valencia for 5 days and it was the best Cabo experience I had. We were greeted by Alfonso Ruiz upon check in and the process was easy and pleasant. Hotel rooms are amazing!! Even got upgraded to one bedroom suite. I’m a member at The Villa Group and it’s been the most accommodating experience I had. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Cabo.
This is only a review of staff who work at the club. All the staff at resort are friendly, work very hard and provide great service. The number one stand out is Laura who works at the Infinity pool area. Thank you Laura for making our week so enjoyable!
