We had an incredible experience with The Gables of PEI! They provided multiple villas for our large group, and their service was nothing short of amazing. The villas were family-friendly, with a perfect layout that made everyone feel comfortable. Each villa was spotless and well-maintained, adding to the overall experience.
From start to finish, the team at Island Coastal Vacation Rentals were professional, efficient, and extremely organized, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. They accommodated our group perfectly, allowing us to rent the Red Pool House for our pre-wedding parties we hosted on the Friday and Saturday night. Julie, and the entire team, were truly unbelievable to deal with, always going above and beyond.
I highly recommend staying at The Gables of PEI to anyone looking for clean, family-friendly villas, in the perfect location with exceptional service!

Recently came to this location for one night stay. Check in was easy and friendly by the staff. Ammenities are great as its located near Cavendish, the cottages are fully equipped with everything you need. Our Air conditionner wasnt working, but with the fast and effective employee services, maintenance brought a portable AC which worked fantastic.
The only disadvantage, was that all the beds are single use, and they were not too comfortable. I would come back for a single night no problem.

Our king villa at The Gables was spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean! We had a great weekend getaway, and were pleased to have everything we needed on site to be able to prepare our own meals. The staff was very accommodating and helped us arrange a play pen for our infant son. We loved exploring the grounds and thoroughly enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub. We'll be back for sure!

We stayed in unit 35 for 3 days -a 2 bedroom hot tub unit Prior to that stay-we were in villa 109 with another couple-also 2 bedroom( no hot tub but nice fireplace outside patio) Unit 109 was very nicely decorated Kitchen supplies with baggies/ Saran/parchment paper was a nice touch-lobster pot plus lots of pans/ wine glasses etc Had a Smart tv in living room n master bedroom Very comfortable Had instruction books for every appliance So we were expecting the same level when we checked back in We were disappointed No smart tv Only 1 in living room Wine glasses a joke (see pic) Faux fireplace in living room required a call in to turn it on Hot tub was the only plus in this unit So before you stay here please make sure you get a unit that has everything you want/ need

We suggest that people are certain they can go, because the service to clientele was not good for us. We did not have a good experience, we still had to pay one full night while it was out of our control. They seem to only want business without a good service. We will not go there!

We arrived Friday evening for a weekend stay. The pictures on the website are deceiving. The property outside was not well kept at all. It looked as if the grass hadn’t been cut in weeks. The walk way was supposed to be lite at night but only 1 solar post marker actually worked.
Upon entry to our villa it smelled almost musty smell and right away could see footprints on the living room floor. While we looked around we noticed that the villa wasn’t cleaned well at all. There were multiple hairs in every sink. The bathtub has a greasy film on it. We found a dead fly on the window ledge when we opened the blind. The coffee table had not need cleaned there was still leftover whatever the previous guests had on there. The grout lines were almost black and are supposed to be a light color. The bathroom door had something spilled on it and was never cleaned. Some sort of crusted stain on the chair in the living room. On the deck outside leading up to the hot tub was also not well maintained it was in desperate need of a good cleaning.
We paid to upgrade to a king bed which ended up being two twin beds pushed together you could visibly see & feel the “crack” between the two mattresses.
Very dissatisfied with our over all experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We're very sorry that your stay was not at all what you were expecting, it is obvious there were some oversights on behalf of our staff and we will be looking into this. We take these reviews very seriously, and we will be speaking to all staff to ensure that this does not happen. The cleanliness of a villa is of the utmost importance to us now, and especially during these times. We strive to satisfy every guest's expectation and it is obvious we did not do enough for your stay. The grass is cut weekly but with these high temperatures and rain, we're currently looking to ameliorate all areas of landscape and will be looking at ways to keep on top of the fast-growing grass/dandelions. We're in the process of replacing/fixing all solar lights on the property as well to help with lighting. Our golf villas are equipped with 2 twin beds in each room, we do offer a king bed conversion which is a process of putting the twin beds together and strapping them with a foam center to allow less of a gap. Again, we cannot express how sorry we are, and we hope to make this right for you, and stay with us in the near future should you choose to give us a chance. We had to cut our stay short by a day because of Hurricane Fiona but the resort was super understanding and helpful. It is a villa with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very quiet location but not far from other tourist attractions. We were there off season so a lot of things were closed. We were looking for a quiet holiday and that’s what we got until the weather interfered. PEI is a very pretty rural type of community without a lot of traffic at least when we were there. There’s a lovely little bakery in North Rustic that has amazing baked goods especially butter tarts. All in all a great place to stay.

The Gables of PEI - Wonderful resort. Clean, grounds very well maintained. Very peaceful surroundings, staff was great helpful with all questions. Overall, a fantastic place to stay. Will definitely plan another return.

Stayed here for a buddies golf trip. Service at the main office was superb. Check in was great and the units are spotless. Beds could be slightly bigger but I still slept well. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend this resort to everyone

We went as a foursome of friends for a golf weekend, and the Gables was perfect. 4 twin beds, 2 bathrooms, in-floor heating, a perfect sized kitchen, comfy couch. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfy, and amenities all in fine order. Convenient to the golf courses, efficient check in/out. The only down side - arriving at dusk it was darned near impossible to see the villa number signs in the dark to know where ours was...they would benefit to have lighting or reflective numbers.
