Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent one night in Elizabeth’s guest house during our hiking from Mestia to Ushguli. The room was cold and without heater, food was nice, but in the comparing with other guest houses it was small amount and really really overpriced. We did not feel welcome, just like people who are bringing money to their pockets. Avoid this place, not worth it.

Elizabeta’s guesthouse is clean and comfortable with very good food, hot water, a nice porch and a very warm and a friendly family, who tries hard to create a pleasant experience for guests. One doesn’t head to a small mountain village expecting a 4 star hotel, and that’s the point. This is a great place to experience how people really live in the small mountain villages of Georgia.

We arrived there and were happy to stay as the place is pretty cool. There is a small garden which is nice. Food is nice (even if you don't get a lot). But we had a room which was very basic (just separated from the rest of the balcony by a wooden wall). The big problem is they charge a lot for it, and even more for food : the lunch box was one slice of bread, one tomato and one egg (that she took from the breakfast). So even 10 GEL would have been too much for that. Too bad. I think it used to be a good place but they now just consider you as their milk cow.

The room we had was bigger than we needed, but it was dark. The fact that the Power supplier did maintenance on the Power lines didn't do Things easier. We ran out of hot water. However, the guest house appeared clean. Food was fair, albeit not the best I have seen. I would have preferred if the owners had lit the rooms With other Sources than electricity. Instead, we sat in darkness in the dining hall. Another option would be to serve Food outside. At the moment, that is not possible. One thing we didn't like, was that they let the cat eat from the buffet when the guests had finished. Since electricity were gone for the most of the day, we did not have Access to wifi before late evening. However, they reserved a room in Iprali for us, so we did fine without.

The only place in Georgia where we had a bad experience - totally overpriced, with unclean rooms and a moody host. Food cooked by the grandmother was nice, and the only redeeming feature. Charged almost 200GEL for room, dinner and breakfast - when average on the hiking route is much lower. They are taking advantage of hikers. Following my review on booking.com I received an abusive response. Find somewhere else in Adishi!

Guesthouse to avoid. Unfriendly people. Overpriced. Food not enough and low quality. seems owners looking to earn much money. The worst accommodation in Georgia.Wine double priced. Don t respect the clients talking to them in a bad way. There are not enough bathrooms for so much clients.

Most probably, Elizabeth's success has led to too many guests, so that the staff cannot handle the apparently good service from former times any more. Food was less than average in the area, and there was not sufficient food for everyone. Also not sufficient space to sit at the tables. We were around 18 guests plus staff - all served in the small room. And just two bathrooms are simply not enough. So lower quality at significantly higher price than other guesthouses.

We really enjoyed our stay at Elisabeth's guest house. Elisabeth speaks really good English and is really friendly, as are the rest of her family. The guest house has amazing views over the mountains and is a really peaceful place to stay. We only stayed one night but had delicious meals and would definitely try and stay there again if we go back. The village was our favourite on the Mestia to Ushguli hike.

Elizabeth's guest house is fabulous. When we reached Adishi, we did not have any reservations. But we were lucky to have landed in the most beautiful guest house there with a view that reminds of beautiful villages in stories. Elizabeth is very caring who pampered us. We had an excellent dinner with about 15 people who stayed there. The dinner was nothing short of a feast. One of the best places I have had my post dinner walk in by Elizabeth's guest house. I would highly recommend everyone to try this place if you are visiting Adishi. Has great host, great food and great scenery.
