I returned to Casa Maricela after a three year absence and it's not surprising to find this charming B&B just as perfect as I remember. This lovely San Miguel jewel has a great location with a short and pleasant stroll to all that San Miguel offers. The rooftop deck with it's improved access is a great place to daydream your...

From the moment you walk through the door from the street and look down the flower lined corridor leading to the entrance of this custom built B&B, you sense you are in for something special...and special it is. My wife and I spent just short of 2 weeks here in June and we enjoyed ever minute. Maricela, the owner, greeted...

Casa Maricela is a charming and immaculate well run intimate B&B!!! Her location is just perfect and within the historical district of the city. She runs a tight ship with her very capable and friendly staff who has been with her for decades. The food is absolutely fabulous and prepared fresh each and every day!!! Nothing like a 3 course...

A friend recommended Casa Maricela as the place preferred by all of her friends who travel to SMA; I understand why! It is just far enough from El Jardin, so that the late night noise can't be heard but it is only a couple of blocks walk away. We enjoyed the most comfortable beds ever - ours was king size....

Casa Maricela is one of those places you want to gush about, but yet you don’t want everyone finding this jewel or it might it booked your next visit! I stayed for a month and didn’t want to leave. The meals/cleanliness/laundry services/other guests--in every category I can easily rate Excellent/extremely enjoyable. The location is stellar, and is the quietest dwelling...

This is a converted home and well decorated. The pros: Beautiful view from roof top terrace, breakfast and lunch included-very unusual for a B&B, very clean, congenial hostess, & walking distance to the town center. Cons: Our bathroom had a large window in the shower stall but no drape to provide privacy, the rooms were very small and had a...

The location in old San Miguel, only short blocks from the central square and 80% of the best restaurants, is perfect. Private, and cozy, the B and B was really designed room-wise as a boutique hotel. All rooms are en suite. The views from the great lounge area on the roof are spectacular. The food was authentic (even home-made mole),...

Maricela is a charmer, and she keeps a very nicely appointed and super clean home to share with her guests. The meals are really good, and she varies them according to her guests' preferences. Atop the lovely house is the best rooftop in San Miguel! I can't believe anybody would complain about the price. It's a great value.

Casa Maricela is cozy and homey. Maricela serves fantastic several course meals for breakfast and lunch. Its a quick walk to the central square and a great view of the Cathedral from the roof patio. Maricela will make you feel at home and help you navigate the town. I would stay again. The only low point was a slow wifi...

We stayed there in July, and I was disappointed in the steep price rise. Not only was it up to $100 per couple, but with the dollar so strong, it was even more expensive in pesos. Must be at least a 20% increase. Also, only breakfast instead of two meals per day? It wasn't clear to us. Anyway, the place...
