We were in SMA for the music festival-- heard Arturo Ramirez on 7-string guitar accompanying soprano Verónica Murúa singing Italian style songs in Spanish-- from music recently found dating from the 1860s! Also the Hermitage Piano Trio-- 3 Russians, now U S residents, playing music by Beethoven, Gaspar Cassadó, a Catalan, Josef Suk, a Czech, and Mendelssohn! Later the Hermitage...

I stayed at Casa de la O in late January this year. The property is centrally located. It has a beautiful central garden, lovely rooms and the breakfasts were delicious... but Lilia is undoubtedly the B & B's finest asset. She is one of the most hospitable B & B owners I've ever crossed paths with. Her passion and love...

My friends and I stayed at Casa de la O for 6 nights- good rooms, good beds, excellent meals, and the most charming hostess in the city! I have stayed at Casa de la O for years whenever I am in San Miguel. It's a short walk to the main plaza, near the San Juan de Dios market, near an...

I had a very nice single room with bath with works of art on the walls, Was there especially for the Day of the Dead. Saw decorated cemetery, altars in homes and public places and at my church in San Miguel. This was my 7th time to stay at Casa de la O and I felt quite at home! Delicious...

I greatly enjoyed visiting with Lilia and her friendly and efficient employees and the other guests. Sitting in the lovely courtyard with her friendly cat Lady Gaga and...

My husband and I stayed here the last week in January. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the room and 2 meals, breakfast and lunch, more than adequate. We paid $40 each a night. It is located around the corner from Warren Hardy Spanish school and a 10 minute walk to the Historic Centro.

A group of family and friends stayed here in October 2012, some of us for the fifth year in a row. Good rooms, good beds, hot water, wonderful food! Lilia has art work in every room and often has a house full of guests.

My party of three stayed here for a week and I have no complaints. This ten room pension is well located, well run, clean and very worth the 500 pesos per day that I paid for a clean room, hot shower and plentyful breakfast. TEach bedroom had its own shower. The owner, Lilia, was a delight. She ate breakfast with...

I won't go into details...you can read the other posts....but I have stayed here for a week to two weeks on 5 different occasions This is a great value. It can be a bit noisy in the mornings due to the way the place is laid out, and sometimes a local school uses the open area behind this property for...
