Very clean, nice place. Should be in good shape or plan on taking a taxi to town which doesn't cost very much. Has a kitchen and several bedrooms with a small pool. Has everything you could ever need.

We are here with a group of eight focusing on culture and physical fitness. Arcos Del Atascadero is a wonderful place with beautiful rooms, gardens, a swimming pool, patios and a functioning kitchen. It is located on a hill above town that is covered with cobbles so you must have sturdy walking shoes. I arrived with an asthma condition and...

We came here to San Miguel on a fitness trip. As San Miguel is in the mountains and situated on the side of a hill, just walking up and down the hills is a great way to maintain and improve one's cardiovascular fitness. This charming multi-leveled Mexican house offers privacy in each of the ample bedrooms, and exquisite views of...

I traveled with 5 other women. The leader of the group had rented the entire house. We did our own cooking when we ate "at home", so we did not sample the food at the B&B. I agree totally with the reviewers who praise the owners, staff, beauty and uniqueness of the house and garden, and the views over the...

We were very surprised and disappointed to read the review by a recent guest and sorry that she did not have an enjoyable stay. It must be noted that the guest was part of a group which made its own booking, room assignments, daily schedules, and transportation arrangements. The tour guide was with the group day and night. We have...

We just returned from an 8 day stay with Patricia in her astoundingly wonderful B&B. First of all Patricia, Patrick and Inez and the staff are exactly the kind of friendly warm generous people you would love to stay with. It is impossible to say enough about their care, generosity and genuine warmth. There were three of us, myself, my...

We were an Art-related Group travelling from Canada. We were really disappointed at the location for we had been told it was wheelchair accessible. 50 % of our group were artists with mobility needs and not even A vehicle could come anywhere the front door! Bringing the luggage down the steep-closed-to-traffic street was hard for everyone. You have to walk...

I participated in the Mexican Cooking Vacation that Patricia holds at her delightful B&B several times a year. If you want a fun time, come cook with her and her daughter-chef, Monica, and their lovely staff of kitchen assistants. The B&B is up on a hill overlooking the charming town of San Miguel de Allende, and has roof terraces from...

I don't even know where to start. Arcos del Atascadero is a beautiful BnB. Patricia, Patrick and their staff were the most friendly, accommodating and pleasant people. I traveled with 3 others and we all had bedroom suites w/attached baths. I had a little casita called El Girasol (sunflower) that opened onto the gorgeous courtyard/garden that was filled with bougainvillea...

I was one of four friends who stayed at Arcos de Atascadero for the Mexican Cooking Vacation that is offered as an option several times a year. The words I would use to describe our stay here and the cooking lessons and, oh yes, the meals would be fabulous, wonderful, fun and any other superlative one could think of. Our...

JoeEH and SFDan really summarized our experience, so I won't repeat what they wrote, but instead try to add a little bit. I've been to San Miguel de Allende a few times over the last 15 years or so, including one of the top-rated boutique hotels in the center, and a well known yoga retreat just outside of town. Arcos...
