We spent a week in Casa Colibri Nov. 19-26, and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The entire grounds are beautiful, and they are maintained extremely well. Our casita was even more than we expected, with a brand new fireplace and fountain on the terrace. It was decorated with attention to every detail. The fully equipped kitchen was...

This was my very first trip to Mexico, and the trip was just wonderful . I went with my girlfriend-this was her second trip to Las Terrazas . Las Terrazas is beyond words. Pat and I were greeted by Murray at the front entrance when we arrived (you enter a huge door that leads to all of the Casa's. We...

Last year was my first trip ever to Mexico and because of my wonderful experience, my girlfriend wanted to know if I'd return this year. She and I were there from October 8th through the 16th. Except for a short 20 minute shower, the weather could not have been better - mid 80s during the day and mid 60s at...

What a greeting we received from our hosts, Murray Friedman and Greg Johnson! After entering this oasis of flourishing bougainvilleas, exotic plants in terra cotta pots, we were ushered into our Casa Mariposa(House of the Butterfly). Both of our mouths literally widened with awe as we viewed our immense terrace with varied hues of green foliage, fuschia flowers and padded...

we spent 6 nights at las terrazas, in san miguel de allende. We stayed in the mariposa suite (1 bedroom, living/dining and full kitchen). We really enjoyed our stay. Las Terrazas is owned by Murray and Greg. We dealt mostly with Murray who was an incredible host. He arranged a very nice trip to guanajuato for us, our guide and...

Our friends Karen and Barry have been coming here for years and are always encouraging us to try it for ourselves. Well, we finally did and after all the years of yearning to revisit Puebla and Oxaca, I have found an even better place to savor Colonial Mexico. You can search around other websites for all the town has to...

We just returned from our 6th stay at Las Terrazas. We have stayed in all of the casas on the property at various times, both with the original owners, Phillip and David, and the current owners, Greg and Murray. Each casa is outstanding. Casa Grillo the 2-br/2-ba unit at the foot of the property is ideal for 2 couples or...

Casita Colibri-sweet home of the hummingbird. I woke up here each morning, poured a cup of fresh coffee and took in the essence of San Miguel. I was surrounded by old churches with their bells ringing, tiled rooftops and distant mountains. Greg and Murray made me feel right at home at Las Terraza and they acclimated me to San Miguel...

This was my first trip to Mexico and thanks to Murray and the laid back hospitality, it was a trip to remember. Las Terrazas is wonderful. Three friends and myself were met upon arrival by Murray one of the owners. Murray was bearing beautiful fresh flowers and had wine chilling for us. We stayed in the Casa Grillo and it...

Las Terrazas was an incredible find! My wife and I just returned from a week's stay, celebrating our 33rd anniversary, and we can't wait to go back. The owners, Greg and Murray, couldn't have been more gracious. They responded immediately to our emails, arranged transport from the airport, and treated us like family. When we arrived, fresh flowers were in...
