Staying at Casa de Cuesta was amazing! We stayed in the Milagros room which was amazing and also had the chance to check out the other guest’s rooms who were also attending the wedding we were all attending. Each room was wonderful, very comfortable and extremely clean. We also enjoyed sitting outside in the various courtyards during our stay and...

If you are going to San Miguel, this is the place to stay, hands down! Bill and Heidi are fabulous hosts, the accomodations are wonderful, and the breakfasts are to die for! We enjoyed sitting out on their many patios with wine and beer from the honor bar! Even the walk into town wasn't that bad -- certainly worth it...

Our first visit to Mexico's interior, Casa de la Cuesta was worth the trip alone. To call it a Bed & Breakfast is an injustice. The breakfast is worth the entire price. This beautiful "home' is chock full of interesting art, tapestry, color and authenticity. If not for the scrap book depicting its construction in 1998 one would swear it...

For personalized attention, comfort and the best of traditional Mexican ambience, Casa de la Cuesta can't be beat! It's worth visiting San Miguel just to stay at Casa de la Cuesta. From the moment you arrive in the van arranged by Heidi and Bill, the owners, you enter a home of beautiful, colorful decor, comfortable rooms and spacious patios for...

This was my first visit to the interior of Mexico and it was quite a treat. I just happened across the website and made reservations. I knew nothing about it prior. The house is decorated in rich, warm colors. Every room has something different about it. There is no "best" rooom. There is a wonderful patio with a fountain, and...

My husband and I (and another couple) just returned from a stay at Casa de la Cuesta in San Miguel. It is an exceptionally clean, airy, traditional building with a number of outdoor patios. Each room is different and charming. There is wonderful artesania everywhere. Heidi and Bill have developed great interest and expertise in indigenous art. Bill has a...

Nestled in the heart of the San Jose hillside, Casa de la Cuesta is breathtakingly beautiful with colorful art, masks, birds, and amazing views of San Miguel. The food was wonderful, though the coffee could have been stronger. Our room was very nice, the staff was kind and pleasant to be around. Heidi and Bill have a amazing museum of...

We loved our stay here. Our room, the San Miguel, had its own little kitchen, bathroom, and a big library/sitting room (with a great brick ceiling) adjoining the bedroom. We had two private, outside decks with great views. (There are steps to think about if you have problems) The whole Bed and Breakfast was very beautifully decorated with lots of...

Casa de la Cuesta is the most remarkable place to stay if you’re visiting San Miguel de Allende. From the moment you open the front door, you know you are entering a magical place as you walk up the corridor of stairs past a collection of colorful carved folk masks. The owners, Heidi and Bill LeVasseur make you feel at...
