We recently stayed at this hotel and loved it. In the past we had stayed at a more expensive hotel and we decided to take a chance on this hotel. We were not disappointed. The hotel is adorable and the staff is amazing. The hotel has complimentary wifi and a delicious morning breakfast. The rooms were adorable and very contemporary....

Spending two weeks in San Miguel at Hacienda El Sanctuario. Great location. Easy stroll to all the sights. Comfortable room with soft linens, comfy beds, great bright tiled bathroom. Nice breakfast included. The staff is so sweet and helpful. The one suggestion would be clothing storage space. There is a lovely desk but would be better to have a dresser....

After reading a number of reviews here on Tripadvisor, we chose the Hacienda El Santuario and we weren't disappointed. Everything just dripped with old world Mexican charm at El Santuario. From the moment we checked in and walked through the traditional courtyard, we were impressed. Hacienda El Santuario is located a few blocks away from the zocalo, so you are...

A wonderful vacation. Hotel desk and staff were very friendly and helpful! Lovely, quiet rooms, and amenities. Breakfast was great! Love San Miguel! I especially enjoyed the Taste of San Miguel food tours, the mask museum, Bella Artes, Institute de Allende, Library house tour, Gallerie Atotonilco, Rosewood Hotel Restaurants and gardens, La Parada, etc. 😊

Hacienda del Santuario is clean and quaint. It was exactly what I was expecting for this type of lodging. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the center of town. While there are other high end places I would stay here again as it met our needs and the stay was pleasant.

As a solo traveler taking a photo workshop in San Miguel, this hotel was the perfect "sanctuary." Every morning, breakfast arrived with a smile and "como esta?" from Abraham. The room was spacious, well-appointed and spotless. My outdoor seating area was a nice plus. El Santuario had the authentic old San Miguel feel missing from some of the other more...

My brother-in-law, sister-in-law, wife and I spent 7 days in this wonderful hotel. A very delicious and filling breakfast was served daily ( included in price of room) in their charming patio. All the staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. They were able to arrange a fantastic trip with private guide to the local pyramid. Kudos to the front desk...

Romantic boutique hotel. Private corners to sit and reflect. Short walking distance to the cathedral and plaza. Beautiful views of the valley. Wonderful breakfast. Internet, not the best away from the main courtyard, but it worked fine. Comfortable king size bed with large adjoining bathroom with shower/tub. We were quite pleased with this hotel and would highly recommend it to...

This was our first stop of our honeymoon and we had a great surprise - the place was more charming and well-located than we expected. It's not a five star hotel, but it is clean and service is outstanding which are the most important for us. We stayed in one of the larger loft/villa-like rooms the first night and in...

My husband and I stayed in a junior suit for two nights; we wish we could have stayed twice that long. The hotel is very well situated near the zocolo and main shopping area, yet it is on a quiet street. Our room was comfortable, roomy, and spotlessly clean. The furnishings and tiles were lovely and the showers were hot....
