Although the room was quite small, there was a quaintness to it that did not make it stifling, quite the contrary. I particularly loved the goats and sheep that the hotels keeps in its property....

We were the only client at the hotel that night. We had a room that was ok and clean but in the morning there was no water in the room. The pool was being repaired... Old beds. But a friendly welcom. Stay there if you don't have any other choice. OK for one night but not worth 55$.

Balneario San Ramón is a recently updated motel-style lodging on the right-hand side of the road heading south from Dolores Hidalgo toward Querétaro. It is just a couple miles north of San Miguel de Allende in the countryside, so it is a nice quiet place to stay while taking in all the sites along Mexico´s Independence trail. They have a...

“Your better off sleeping in the road”

“More than anything you need to find out if there will be any "fiestas" in the nearby area. We happened to be there during some sort of church fiesta and the fireworks went on into the wee hours of the night and this was not just for one or two night but for all but one night of our stay. I normally do not have a problem sleeping when it is noisy but this took the cake!”
