Stayed for three nights and would say that the hotel lives up to it’s description of a Country House Hotel. We were subject to the Covid -19 pandemic rules, of the Welsh Government, and both parties, visitors and Staff, acknowledged the restrictions accordingly and without fuss or bother. Everything from the very welcoming staff, worked smoothly and professionally and they were always helpful and pleasant. The chef certainly knows his/her job very well, serving excellent meals throughout our stay. The cleanliness throughout is top class. I would recommend this hotel ever time, when visiting lovely North Wales and will certainly be staying there again soon.
Ideal base for visiting North Wales. Located in Snowdonia and a short drive from Llanberis, Caernarfon and Anglesey it’s the perfect luxury retreat. Set in quiet countryside with amazing views of Snowdonia and the sea. A friendly welcome, fabulous rooms, furnished to a high standard. The food in the restaurant is amazing and you do feel full when you’ve eaten and they cater for food allergies and vegetarians. Excellent wine cellar and range of drinks. We had the best stay and the weather was kind. We will be back and can’t recommend the place enough.
Friendly staff, great room and good food. What more could you ask for? All the staff were super friendly but professional and nothing was too much trouble. The room was large, well appointed and comfortable. The breakfasts were tasty and well proportioned. The dinner menu was small but the food excellent. I read some of the early negative reviews and I can only think they were talking of s different hotel because the Tyn Rhos we visited was first class.
Our third time here after ding-dongs with various bookings for obvious reasons, and a lovely time again. Quiet, peaceful, great food and drink, Hilary and Laura and all the staff looked after us very well. Some places are worth coming back to, and this is one of them.
Wonderful jumping off point for exploring the local area. Eye-popping Gardens, very welcoming staff, phenomenal food. We had a room with its own private courtyard where we could prop the door open and listen to the sounds of the sheep in the next door field. Highly recommend if you want somewhere nice and quiet with incredible food, and brilliant service to stay in that area. They just need to type porridge on the breakfast menu.
