This was the first stop on our trip to india. We flew into Cochin airport at early hours in the morning, the hostel organised a taxi to pick us up and although we arrived later than expected the driver waited and didn’t charge extra. Babu (the host) woke up and let us into our rooms despite the time. We stayed in the two en-suite double bed rooms, these were clean and had nice facilities. There is a communal space upstairs which is great to chill in, you can order from a good variety of food, not too expensive and from what we had it was all extremely nice. Babu gave suggestions on where was good to visit and you can organise trips through the hostel. For example day trips/half day trips to the backwaters - which we did and highly recommend. It is a walk away from temples and the beach. Although we went in quiet season we were extremely well looked after, overall had an amazing stay here and would suggest staying here a few nights if you get the chance. Thank you Babu - we will definitely visit again if we get the chance!

Lovely place, very relaxed. We felt very looked after, Baboo the owner was lovely and made sure our stay was the best, as well as helping us plan activities and made us feel at home. Lovely rooms, all very clean as well as delicious food and good service. Would highly recommend, in good distance of many restaurants and the beach and the sea, wish to come back in the future!
