Was looking this place up again as I'm mad to return and can't believe I didn't review first time round. In summary we loved every single thing about our stay, me and my husband stayed in one of the cabins, had everything we needed was comfortable clean and warm. Sheep, pigs and chickens on the grounds added to the glamping experience, amazing breakfast hamper each morning with their own produce..eggs were unreal. Had drinks in the village pub , visited slieve bloom and birr gardens. All in all such a good time and hope to get back next summer.

we visited here recently and it was fab! We were able to eat at the pub across the way (which was an absolute delight) and we went to kinnity castle during the day and it was a lovely walk and it has a lovely cafe. We were able to stay in the outdoor cabins which were great, just enough space and was lovely and warm at night. Amazing breakfast in the morning see pixture attached! Also the lady who showed us to our cabin was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Giltraps came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. Extremely clean, very welcoming staff, superb location with lots for families to do nearby . Excellent breakfast menu, which is delivered to your door. Breakfast baps were delicious. Gluten free food options also! Bathrooms were spotless and the showers were nice and powerful. We had dinner in Giltraps pub across the road and again the food and service was amazing. It was one of the highlights of our family's summer and our daughters can't wait to do it again.

We took a night away in the yurt and it was so peaceful. We had everything we needed. The yurt was spacious, smelled wonderful had fresh towels and spotless bed linen. It even had power in it to charge phones, laptops etc. We really loved the lanterns in the yurt which created a very bohemian atmosphere. The on site facilities were excellent with exceptionally clean bathrooms and showers. There was also a make-up table and somewhere to iron your clothes. There were plenty of picnic benches outside and an indoor dining area along with a relaxed lounge area with comfy couches and a piano! We had stone baked pizza and chips for dinner and the hubby had a pint of Guinness which was excellent he said. There is a vending machine on site for those with a sweet tooth. Lovely walks and
