I recently organised my sister’s hen party at Giltraps And we had the best day and night. From first talking to Eleanor she was so helpful and easy going and really helpful with any questions or queries we had. Everyone loved the relaxed atmosphere that they provided. The facilities were excellent, so clean and comfortable. The cabins were roomy, cosy and the beds extremely comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food that was provided at the BBQ was amazing and the breakfast hampers delivered to the cabin doors the next morning were delicious. We booked the Giltraps glamping for my sisters Hen weekend, there was about 25 of us so a large group. We all stated in the cabins and the yurt out the back. My mum and sister stayed in the guest house. I have to say that we had a fantastic weekend, the staff were so friendly and attentive but gave us the space to relax and have fun too! We were greeted on arrival and the calm and collected nature of the staff helped to make sure the check in ran smoothly. The pub across the road is owned by the same people and it was modern, homely and well equipped for our Hen party needs. We had a beautiful food. The pizzas on the Friday and the BBQ on the Saturday eve were just perfect. The breakfast was so nice, delivered to your cabin door each morning you could get it at your own leisure. Such a great place for a Hen weekend. If you want a country laid back feel with just your group it’s perfect. Locals seemed lovely and no hassle. Well used to Hens. Areas for improvement: Tired decor/ tiles in the toilets and the guest house bedroom. Toilets could do with an update. It would be great to have a proper coffee machine in the common area. Even a dolce gusto one.

Fantastic venue. We organised a stag-do for my brother and a group of us to stay in Kinnity in Feb 2022. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful for the whole weekend. We had two great nights in Giltraps and would recommend for any group or family. Eleanor organised everything for us on the weekend we were there. There were loads of options for activities in the area to suit any group. We had food included both evenings and a breakfast both mornings, all of which were very good. Couldnt recommend enough!

Giltraps is an excellent venue for a large group. We had a 31 man stag and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They have a bnb inside as well as the glamping outside. I was concerned before arriving as there was snow that week but the cabins are very warm, modern and comfortable. They sent lovely breakfast boxes around to our cabins to ensure everyone was fed in the morning. They have a great pub across the road too with live music. Convenience was key on this trip! Everyone was very friendly and they took great care of us. Would definitely recommend it for a stag or any large gang!

Stayed here on the last weekend of Feb with a bunch of mates. I have to say the accommodation was excellent, I stayed in a cabin with four beds. Lovely and warm. Breakfast baps provided each morning with tea/coffee. Staff were very accommodating and very helpful, all facilities on site were top notch. Lovely pub across the road with a tasty pint and a killer pool table.

We arrived with big crowd for the weekend in late February. The scenery is lovely, the property was clean and very cosy. The breakfast was delicious and the food in the bar exceeded expectations. I cannot say enough about the staff. They were all amazing. Eleanor was so helpful every step of the way, she went above and beyond. An absolute gem.
