My husband got us a romantic night away in Kinnitty Castle. Driveway up to it is very impressive. Staff at the reception were very welcoming and friendly, although because our room was basically in the attic, the staff just handed us the key for the curved stairs, and said be on your way to the very tiny corner of the...

... that i didnt like. The room we got was not as pretty/nice decorated as the ones on the website. Was a bit dissapointed. As well, the walls were thin and you go could hear all neighbours on the side and above. They seem all to enjoy the pub in the basement and they come to there rooms way after...

Was brought here as a romantic birthday surprise for the Easter weekend. Initial impression on the way up the driveway was great, very impressive grounds and the castle and courtyard look really beautiful. Our room was incredibly dark, looking directly into forest growth and required full bright ceiling lights to even get dressed in the mornings. The only other lighting...

The location is where you a expect a castle to be. In the middle of nowhere, but the scene around is certainly appropriate. The rooms are really something different then what you usually see. I was there with a big group so I saw at least 10 of them. Big fancy beds in an antiquity style. Fancy bathrooms. The whole...

We got married at Kinnitty last year and came back for a night as part of a trip to Ireland for our one year anniversary. There have been a few changes since last year, all of them great. The bathroom in the Butler suite was stunning having been recently redecorated. The view from the bath was amazing! The Internet is...

We stayed here for two nights on our way back to Dublin Airport having just spent a fantastic break in Connemara so the Castle had it's work cut out. it's in a very nice location just out of the village set in acres of land with a couple of very nice 5 or 8km walks which set you up a...

Stayed at Kinnitty Castle last week during our honeymoon and it was perfect! We had originally booked a massage but the masseuse had a death in her family and couldn't come, so they upgraded us to a larger room. The hotel itself has been beautifully restored and the hard work they've put into improving and maintaining the castle and grounds...
