I think the people on here don't really appreciate the location. The pool is absolutely the best campsite pool I have been to framed by trees and mountains in the distance. The camp is very natural and there are great BBQs. The ground is a bit hard so airbed recommended but no big deal. So many amazing places to see... More

Just stayed one night on route through Spain. Wanted to visit the only national park in Portugal. Camp with a good restaurant and friendly staff. Clean facilities, not everything working properly. Prices a little bit high for the season and the usual surrounding in Portugsl and Spain. Landscape around should make it up

My review is very similar with the previous one, I even think we were neighbors in the camping. This park is over-priced. I almost screamed when I had to pay 23 euros for two persons for one night. I wanted to leave the car outside of the park and pay less but that option didn't exist. The location of this... More

On our bicycle trip over France, Spain and Portugal it was the most expensive camping so far. In a natural park it is amazing there is no specific price for pedestrians and cyclists. Toilets without seat, no paper, no soap, poor button showers, paid swimming pool, slow wifi available only near the reception/restaurant , make this camping overpriced - there... More

It has very good shades for your tent. Well defined parking place. A football field that you can use for free. The grocery store has almost everything you'll need to keep you going. The restaurant is not that bad, but what kept me from giving 5 starts is the fact that you have to pay to use the pool. Not... More

Being outside the high season, it's a nice and quiet campsite. The store was opened on request and carries the basics. The restaurant is okay, but no more than that. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

I went on a trip to Gerês all by myself searching for tranquility and calm and i couldn't have went to a better place! the camping is quite big and very well structured, from what i saw there was a lot of cars and trailers but the tent area is isolated and quiet with lots of trees and shade so... This park has good areas. The areas for tents are well defined and there are many shades available for everyone. The changing rooms are very satisfactory and were always in excellent hygienic conditions. The restaurant has free wi-fi and serves good meals at a reasonable price. There is also a mini-market where we can do basic day-to-day shopping. I recommend... More

In my opinion, Geres´s one of the most beautiful places in Portugal! In here you may see waterfalls to swim, big rocks to climb and a wonderful landscape to admire... Parque Cerdeira is a great place to stay because is near of all the main attractions, have a great price and you are directly in contact with nature. I stayed... More

I ought to note that I am not an experienced camper and this may colour my review of Parque Cerdeira. I shall start at the beginning...the reception staff were surly and superior, leaving reception I felt as if I was a naughty little girl who had just been reprimanded by the headmistress. The rest of the staff were lovely, especially... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our bungalows are your mountain home right in the heart of the National Park Peneda-Geres (link is external) . They are different from the types of houses we find in the majority of Campsites in Portugal. We have opted for fixed constructions, wherever possible deploying materials from the region. They are small stone houses, some remaining faithful to traditional construction and the latest ones endowed with modern architecture, almost perfectly fitting in with the site where they are built. All our bungalows have central heating, as well as fireplace (firewood not included), kitchnette and toilette. Bungalows Type T1 and T1-L are ideal for 2 people, having a double bed in the bedroom, bungalows T2 accomodate 4 people, 1 room with a double bed and other with 2 individual beds. Bungalows T1-L are wider than bungalows T1, specially in the social area. Once arrived at Cerdeira we want you to feel at home. Our purpose is to make Your stay at Cerdeira an unforgetable experience... ... more   less
