Outstanding! Beautiful rooms. Gorgeous grounds. Everything thought through. We stayed in the Alnwick Room which was spacious, very light and luxurious. Breakfast cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. A luxury B&B it most certainly is. We are planning our next visit!

A beautiful house and very warm and welcoming hosts. Michele made us feel very welcome and at ease. Breakfasts are delicious and individually cooked and presented in a lovely dining room overlooking the beautiful and well kept gardens. There is a large lounge which is tastefully decorated and our Suite was lovely. The House has a lot of history to...

This is a lovely B&B in a beautiful house set in large well kept grounds. The accommodation is luxurious with every detail taken care of. The owner was very welcoming and friendly and showed us around our room which was very comfortable. The breakfast had a vast choice, with food sourced locally and was well cooked and presented beautifully. The...

Comprised of Bedroom leading into Bathroom leading into Sitting Room.Very comfortable with everything you could need and I am sure if anything was missing you only had to ask. Excellent breakfasts, kippers were a...

Second stay here and as good as previous. Very warm welcome. Room is large and comfortable bed and armchairs. Fresh coffee in room. Large shower. Delicious breakfasts freshly made to order. Only possible downside is lack of mobile reception (but that could be a plus!)

As a family group of 6, staying in 2 rooms in the main house and the Lodge, we had a great time celebrating a special birthday. All the rooms were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. Michelle was especially helpful booking a trip to Farne Island for us. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to return soon.

Exceptional place with a great blend of traditional (furnishings, decoration) and modern (bathroom, food). First class service from Michelle and a fantastic base from which to explore one of the best tourist areas of the U.K. Stunning castles, wonderful countryside, great beaches and a top fish restaurant in Bamburgh. Thank you.

The owners could not have been more attentive to detail and nothing was to much trouble. Furniture and fittings are all of a very high quality and the visit was a total delight. I have stopped there on several occasions and have always found the stay very restfull.
