We came to the Ribchester Arms for a family meal on New Years Day 2017. As usual the staff were friendly and courteous despite the fact they were very busy. The food was top notch we were a party of 8 adults and 4 children , the food was piping hot, beautifully prepared and presented. The staff were attentive as...

Voted as excellent by TripAdvisor in 2014, but since the refurbishments following the floods of 2015, it has just got better. The staff make you feel like old friends, the decor is delightful and the service is ten star. Orders are taken quickly and delivered in a flash. All seems calm, but it is obvious the staff are working flat...

We stopped here after a long walk on the Ribble Valley Way and had a warm hearty meal. The mulled wine certainly helped warm us up and the food was tasty. The Christmas menu was available, so we settled on that. There were several options and we opted for the 2 courses. The soup was homemade and the rolls were...

We visit this place every few weeks and the food, staff and surroundings are really lovely- keep it up! We can't believe the difference in the decor since the floods 12 months ago- we would highly recommend it.

You'd never guess that only a year ago the whole place was under water. It looks great. Anyway, the food was amazing. I skipped the...

We came to the freshly refurbished Ribchester Arms for a family meal. It's stunningly modern inside but has kept its rural historic charm. I'd love to come back in the summer and sit on the balcony or in the beer garden. Food was really good, big portions. I went for the lamb roast dinner, 2 meals for £14 on a...

My wife was disappointed that the big hotel by the river bridge was being redeveloped for housing so we thought we,d try the Ribchester Arms - a popular large pub at the east end of the village. Staff were young and very friendly so a pity the food did not quite match the welcome. Despite the meals being huge (...
