My wife was disappointed that the big hotel by the river bridge was being redeveloped for housing so we thought we,d try the Ribchester Arms - a popular large pub at the east end of the village. Staff were young and very friendly so a pity the food did not quite match the welcome. Despite the meals being huge (...

Was staying at the Riverside barn b&b and was recommended to eat here, what an amazing surprise, beautiful local pub decorated wonderfully & the food was perfect! All staff were courteous and friendly and was good value for money, if only we were in the area longer to try more of the menu!

I should not have worried as the whole group of 15 enjoyed a delicious...

The small fish and chips is really good value for money. Perhaps could benefit from changing the specials and sweets as they both...

We went to the 'Ribby for the first time to eat. All four of us enjoyed a beautiful meal, lovely staff and decent beers, all at good value prices. What more could you ask for? We will most certainly be calling again.

Nice to see the place back open but the meal that arrived wasn't really what was advertised on the boards. Waitress did apologise and said it wsa their fault apologised but that was it. Birthday treat spoiled and two customers lost.

Sunday lunch at 14:00and the restaurant was still busy , booking a table is advisable . Three courses for less than £20 is good value, the food is ok , standard fare. However the room was unbearably hot , the waitress could only open one window and we all felt uncomfortable and needed to leave as soon as we could....

Wow! Fantastic home cooked food... We ordered 2 cream of mushroom soup and 1 fruit dish for starters.. The soup arrived promptly and was served with warm fresh soft rolls and butter and tasted absolutely delicious.. I was told that the fruit dish was well presented, refreshing tasted lovely. The Main.. Two of us ordered the hot sandwich meal served...
