Reserved in advance, no problem. Driving down from Donegal, the weather reports forecasted wind. We stopped for soup and Guinness as soon as we got to the island. We had a 14 km drive to the B&B and by the time we got there, the wind and rain were 70mph directly off the ocean. One suitcase blew 50 feet down...

Catherine and Micheal are friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Their rooms are clean with really comfortable beds. Inis Aoibhinn was a peaceful haven with beautiful views of the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. First time on Achill island but most definitely not the last.

We spent 2 nights in this B&B during our trip of the West of Ireland. Raging wind, streaming rain and thick fog were part of the deal, so we spent more time inside than usual. Luckily the Inis Aoibhinn was very accommodating, and as clean as one could ever expect. We enjoyed the great breakfast, as well as the warm...

We stayed in this B&B late August and loved it so much. This B&B is disabled friendly (apart from shower) and has ramped access at the back. The room is gorgeous, the food wonderful it is the hostess Catherine that is the star. So kind, thoughtful and within a few short minutes a friend. Treated like royalty we were just...

Been there at August, Scoil Acla date. At the very edge of Achill. Best landscape ocean view, big and comfortable room, very clean. Very kind hostess, helping a lot. 5 star breakfast and coffee/tea/cake along the day. Micheal, the owner, has a taxi Van, took him to a 3 hour Achill guided tour.

What a wonderful place to stay! We so enjoyed arriving to that beautiful coffee and fruit cake and other goodies.. The breakfast of salmon on scrambled eggs was heavenly. The local knowledge of where to explore was so appreciated. Wonderful Irish hospitality - and that is even before I start on the unbelievably beautiful view. It is a tad further...

I only stayed for one night in this B&B and although I found the house to be lovely, the breakfast great and the location good, my friends and I were made to feel very unwelcome by the owner, Catherine, the morning we checked out. She made it very clear to us that she wanted us out as quickly as possible...

I came to ireland for the first time last month for a wedding on Achill Island and found this wonderful guesthouse to stay in run by Michael and Catherine, two of the most personable, decent and openhearted people that I have had the pleasure of meeting in Ireland. Upon arriving Catherine offered to iron my shirt that I was wearing...
