Decent drive from Szymany airport, no real issues. Lovely looking building. Night staff on arrival was very helpful. Nice size rooms. Breakfast was fantastic, each morning was a joy. Let them know well in advance if you want to use the spa. Decent beer, the grounds are fab. Would love to visit in the summer. Great stay.
Very Traditional. Polish hotel , location is almost off the grid but still close to town . Nice scenery in the back yard. Full restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Customer service is very good. military and American friendly. Only issue id say is that it gets a little warm at night and have to open a window and the restaurant menu is limited
This historic, well restored manor, originally built in 1830 gave us a lovely, relaxing experience. Both the exterior and the interior are nicely decorated. Since it was almost Christmas, the hotel was decorated with lights, Christmas trees, wreaths, etc. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The manager could not have been kinder. She made sure that everything was just right during our stay. When we arrived the receptionist, who spoke English, escorted us to our room and made sure that everything was arranged as we would like and asked us what time we would like breakfast the next day. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning included in the stay. It was a continental spread of meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, yogurt, cereal, orange juice, coffee, and tea. Then, I enjoyed taking a walk in the park every day. Two large oak trees span across the long lawn. There is a gazebo, small pond, stream, walking trail through the trees, a pool, tennis court, three swings and a little garden in the back corner. After translating the signs, I discovered it includes blueberry bushes, cherry, apple and pear trees. The whole park was lovely in the winter as small wisps of snow came down. I am sure during the greener, warmer seasons of the year it is gorgeous as well. The room had plenty of space with a small table, two chairs, a television and a very comfortable bed. Every day they put two bottles of water in the room. The bathroom had a nice, warm shower with toiletries waiting for us. The beautiful view from the two windows in our room overlooked the park behind the hotel. Two of the nights, we reserved the jacuzzi. It is included in the price. We reserved it that morning so they could have it warm and ready for us. It was so nice in a room downstairs in the spa. They lit candles in the room and it was very special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel highly.…
Beautiful old Prussian mansion renovated recently, within a quite wild region of Poland. A nice park with old oak tree protecting the house and very particular way to store wood for the fire. We enjoyed excellent traditional Polish cuisine with a terrific Zurek and great duck. Reception with a high sense of service.
We stayed at this property for 4 nights. Our room was 116, queen bed, comfortable and quiet despite being immediately next to the stairs. The staff was very pleasant, I’m not sure why there are so many reviews of unpleasant/unfriendly staff. All the staff but 1 spoke English and ALL the staff was helpful, accommodating, considerate, and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful each morning with many choices from cereals, cake, cold meats, cheeses, breads, hot dishes (2), and fruit. While we explored during the day, each night we returned to the hotel for dinner. We had a range of dishes from the fish, rabbit, cabbage soup, salads, pork, and nothing disappointed. This is more of a bed and breakfast/inn style than a hotel, for those looking for a hotel. The WiFi wasn’t great but who goes to Poland on a visit for the WiFi? Go explore! …
