Lancashire folk know what's good for them and it's all to be enjoyed in this old Inn which provides very comfortable clean accommodation and very tasty no- nonsense meals with locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast was spot on. This part of Lancashire is a hidden secret and for a stopping off place in this area of raw beauty Ye Horns is...

I stayed here for 1 night and was accommodated in Room 5. The check in was smooth and easy. A very welcoming place and on first checks the prices are very reasonable. £79 including Breakfast/Dinner. Accommodation is to the rear in the converted barn so if you have a bit of luggage it is worth leaving in the car until...

The decor of the rooms and the restaurant is reminiscent of the 19th century. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom is all you could wish for; we had single beds and mine was less comfortable than I could have wished, the mattress was old and the duvet was either too narrow or should have been used in conjunction with...

We came for a late Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago and the food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. We chose from the set menu and had the prawn cocktail and the black pudding fritters which were crisp with a melt in the mouth middle and for me, they were the standout course of the meal. I then...

We go to this lovely restaurant, maybe once or twice a year (most recently, on the 3rd October for our wedding anniversary). The food, as always, was excellent. Although we only live 13 miles from Ye Horns Inn, we've stayed overnight here on 5 or 6 occasions over the last 10yrs, just for a getaway (not this time, as I'm...

We ate from the the 3 course sunday menu. There was plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful with choosing both the food and wine but in a very unobtrusive way. All our courses were excellent and couldn't fault anything. Relaxed atmosphere and unhurried service all made for an excellent afternoon. They also had guest beers including Brew...

No sign of any frozen products in sight.Lovely olde worlde traditional pub not like these modern empty shells. Fantastic atmosphere. All food locally sourced and of exceptional standard. We will be back again soon.

Another fantastic long Bank Holiday weekend spent here at the 3rd Goosnargh beer festival. Although some of the room facilities could do with a little bit of an upgrade, this does not detract at all from a fantastic place. Service was outstanding. The breakfasts and evening meals were of especially high quality. Mark, the owner, is first class in his...

Last evening we decided to venture out for dinner ... "Let's try The Horns Inn at Goosnargh" ... so we did. We were two, arriving at about 6:45pm, with no booking. We were invited to have a pre-dinner drink in the bar - a glass of wine and a pint of bitter shandy. Very nice. For our meal, we were...
