Had a meal for 4 and was impressed. Very old building and full of character with small dining rooms so very cozy.Food is nicely cooked and served by people who care.Duck is their speciality but other mains are available including fillet steak and fish.Hadn't room for sweets but looked great. We will return.

Visited here with my partner on a Thursday evening. We got a deal through groupon. When we arrived we was greeted with a warm welcome, from a very nice woman who worked behind the bar. We ordered some drinks and sat by the open fire. The place is very much like home. The food was very good and plentiful. Both...

We visited here for a wedding about 10 years ago, and were looking forward to an overnight stay again, as it was lovely. It's in the middle of nowhere, in a peaceful part of Lancashire, so don't expect a town nearby. The accommodation is attached to the pub, so once you're there you can sit down, drink, eat and relax....

Recently called in here for a meal and had the phesant, plus some chips, excellent meal and good beer. The atmosphere is good and the room had a genuine log fire, just the kind of place to make you feel homely and the staff are nice. Have visited on several other occasions and the standard has always been good. Just...

The accommodation is at the rear of the pub/restaurant beside a huge car park. There are open views of countryside and its location is very pleasant indeed. The pub itself is and olde world former coach house and is full of character. Apart from breakfast, I didn't eat there so cannot comment on food. The breakfast was very nice though....

Staying here for a weekend to visit my mother's friends. So comfortable with delicious food, especially the local Goosnargh duck. Wish we were just relaxing here. Beautiful countryside all around. Come and visit for a weekend. Excellent value too.

On a business trip to Blackpool, we found ourselves close to Goosnargh, the home of my wife's ancestors and decided to investigate. Wanting to get a feel of the place, we booked into Ye Horns, which is right out in the country, surrounded by farms. The inn's surroundings are attractive and close to magnificent views of the Trough of Bowland...

Stopped here for dinner. Not a great vegetarian choice but what I did have was tasty and the chips were amazing. The gentleman running the bar also seemed to be running accommodation, waiting with the food etc. but remained friendly, warm and helpful. Decor old fashioned but the atmosphere was welcoming.

Came for this years Beerfest over the bank holiday and camped out for 2 nights for a very reasonable £15. Arrived Saturday lunchtime and after we got the tent set up sat on the lovely terrace and had a delicious dinner which was reasonably priced and excellent quality. The staff from the beginning were helpful, friendly and attentive. The Beerfest...
