We had a day planned in Great Malvern and wanted to stay somewhere close by and fell upon the the Old Rectory. It is a FABULOUS place to stay - food was superb - dinner on Saturday night just fabulous and breakfast the next morning equally amazing. The room was HUGE, the bathroom was HUGE, the bed was comfy. Clare made us feel so welcome. The bedroom and bathroom were huge and beautifully decorated. The dinning room set to a high standard and Clare's cooking is something else! What can we say? Everything has been simply perfect. The location is stunning. The room magnificent, the food excellent, your dogs lovely, the paintings and books in your home describe you better than words. Claire is such a talented person: her painting is incredible and her food is art as well. What can we say? THANK YOU. We will be...

As soon as you arrive at The Old Rectory and are met by owners Clare Dawkins and John Miller you feel that you are guests in the home of friends rather than paying customers. The well-appointed house manages to be cosy and spacious at the same time. Visiting in an unseasonably cold March, the roaring log fire in the drawing...

We celebrated my 50th birthday in style with 6 couples at the Old Rectory. It was a truly memorable weekend; Claire and John were the perfect hosts and we had a marvelous 5 course candlelit dinner followed by a delicious breakfast the next day. The Old Rectory is beautifully decorated and every room is special; tea and scones in the...

We have just spend the most wonderful two days at the Old Rectory!!! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We were made to feel most welcome, whether we were having tea in the elegant drawing room, relaxing in our huge room, or sampling the delicious breakfast and dinner. I have never seen so many options on a breakfast menu...

I stayed at the Old Rectory two years ago with friends and loved it then but have recently spent the weekend there with an old friend, the two of us spending our time catching up in the huge drawing room in front of a roaring fire. I almost don't want to post a review because this place is so good...

The occasion was a small (8) family dinner party to celebrate my Wife's birthday. After discussing arrangements and menu with Claire and John some weeks beforehand, I managed to keep secret the venue so that Tricia had a really pleasant surprise when we arrived - the others were already there. On a dark October evening, what a pleasure to be...

The Old Rectory is charming, welcoming and very comfortable indeed. The bedrooms we used were spacious, with excellent bed-linen and toiletries, and charming antique furniture. We stayed in a family suite, with three bedrooms, a small kitchen and a very comfortable sitting room with books, games and TV. We had breakfast on two mornings and dinner on one evening. The...
