Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a mediocre campsite. There are advantages and disadvantages. Advantages: there is a nice and enthusiastic animation team, they do their best and organize fun activities for the children. There are plenty of pools and there is a fun slide. The pitches are spacious and there is sufficient shade. The beach is nearby. There is a cozy terrace by the pool. Cons: It is very dusty and the toilet blocks are dirty. Driving is too fast, which constantly blows up dust and creates unsafe situations. There are many dogs running loose. The entrance is shared with the supermarket, making it busy there. There is no good bakery nearby. The technical maintenance is poor, which also creates dangerous situations (such as broken stairs in the pool with sharp edges, etc.) It is really too expensive for this quality (approx. €500 p/w for a camping pitch) All in all we had a good time and the atmosphere is fine but this campsite is not worth that much money and the maintenance / cleaning is bad.

My family and I just spent a week at this spot, which was awesome. I am already making plans for next year. The booking experience was easy, and the price was reasonable. We arrived late at night and still got a great welcome. Our bungalow was well equipped and very clean. There are many spaces and activities for kids and grown-ups, and plenty of things to do not far from the campsite. Our kids loved the different pools and sports areas. All the activities recommended by the director were great, and we are very thankful for the time he took listening to our requests and giving us great info. The restaurant has excellent, fresh food, and all employees are professional and friendly. Even though the site was full we were never bothered by the noise at night. We will be back next year with more friends.

Lovely campsite. Nice staff. We rented a mobile home which was quite new and well appointed. Pool and play ground were great and the beaches are spectacular. Would highly recommend. Supermarket beside the campsite too so everything is on your doorstep.

The site is large and well set out. It is in a good position for visiting the surrounding area. The wash facilities are large and good but not cleaned at the weekend or bank holidays so over a 3 day period when we were there it was not cleaned at all. At first there was no hot water but actually tepid did arrive after running the taps for several minutes. This is not what we expected from a 4star site. The reception told us that out of season, there was not enough demand for hot water to ensure a regular supply. We took kettles of boiling water to the sinks to wash and to wash dishes - not acceptable.

Sagone is close to several nice beaches. There is a big supermarket at the entrance of the camping. We loved the 4 km track for jogging along the olive trees. We didn't like the loud entertainment at night.

We only stayed one night in this camping. The facilities looked quite new, and the place was calm and, at least, looked clean and modern. I guess that it was because of this, that it was the most expensive camping we stayed in during our stay in Corsica.

We are currently touring Europe in a motorhome. In early June, because we were meeting up with friends staying in Cargese and needed to be sure of somewhere to stay we broke our own rule that we never book ahead. As a result we were required to pay a deposit amounting to four days' stay at 37E per night. This seemed very expensive as we had been staying on ACSI sites at 16E but we thought that as it described itself as a four star venue it should be worth the extra money. However, we were shocked when we drove in to find that many of the pitches were unkempt being overgrown with weeds and debris. In the centre of the site there was a disused toilet block which had become almost derelict. The usable toilet facilities were full of cobwebs and not particularly clean. In short the camping area was extremely shabby and fell far short of the standard which could be expected of a four star establishment. It is true to say that the swimming pool and restaurant areas were maintained to a much higher standard but even then the wi fi failed to work and a new state of the art laundrette was not yet operational nor was any work being done to achieve this (although there were stratically placed paint pots within). After a day we complained that the camping facilities did not meet our expectations and that the price of the pitches was completely out of keeping with this standard and we asked whether they would either reduce the daily rate or return the balance of our deposit so that we could go elsewhere. The manager refused to do either. Despite the fact that we had booked online and thus had had to rely upon their marketing material they were not prepared to be reasonable or flexible. During our trip we have stayed at sixteen different sites and this is by far the most disappointing. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

We camped at this campsite for 6 nights from 19th August and we really enjoyed our time there. The tent pitches are very shady and well marked out and we had a very large plot (most plots are large and shady). We didn't feel hemmed in or on top of other people. The reception staff were effecient and friendly. The facilities were cleaned 3 times a day and were clean and well looked after - although almost all the showers sprayed water practically everywhere. There was a supermarket at the entrance to the site which was convenient and the prices were fair. The pool and bar area are new this year and were very nicely done and clean, however, there were not enough sun loungers, We didn't use the camp site restaurant as when we tried to order 3 portions of chips to take away at 7.10pm we were told that they would be ready for 9pm! Also, the beer on tap was listed on the menu for 2.50 Euro, but when the bill came we were charged 2.80 Euro. Not a huge difference, but the staff were a bit short with us and we were told that they had changed the brand of beer and it was now more expensive. In general the campsite was quite peaceful, however we did have a couple of noisy people come pitch next to us for a couple of nights and the night security guard came to ask them to be quiet. Also, we camped a little too near to the pool / bar area and the noise from that went on until 11pm some evenings. The location of the site is a little over a kilometer from Sagone, 10-15km from Cargese and 45 minutes drive to Ajeccio. Most of the local beaches were sandy with clear seas and not windy.
