situated a little outside of the main town, but right across the street from the tulum ruins, and free bikes are a part of your stay. She gives you great maps of the surrounding attractions and restaurants. The dogs and staff are so friendly. Breakfast is always yummy and homemade every morning and the full kitchen and nearby grocery store...

The love, passion and attention to detail the owner Chelo has for her hostel is incredible. The rooms are immaculate and spacious- great for a couple. Bikes come as part of the deal, providing a quick and easy way to get around town. The best part is the breakfast, personally cooked by Chelo. An array of fresh fruits and fruit...

Stayed in the Posada Los Mapachen in a double room. The room, whole property and owner are fantastic. Unfortunately we had a tight schedule and stayed only for 1 night - but I would have loved to stay longer. The place is located outside Tulum town on the highway to Cancun - right across the road to Tulum ruins. The...

Upon arrival the owner of the Posada, Chelo gave us a warm welcome and beckoned us in. She is a peoud lady and has her rules. She requested to hold our passports during the stay, which we received back on checkout no problems. She requests to have our bags fumegated to ensure no contamination of the accommodation, which to us...

Me and my girlfriend stayed at PLM for a week and we had the best time. Chelo, the owner was amazing and together with her sons and animals she runs this place great. Always clean, familiar and cozy. I can't say anything bad about this place. Her breakfasts was great as well!

You might think its in the middle of nowhere but that is so far from the truth. With the bikes that is included in the price you have only 10 minutes if you are an athlete to town and around 15 minutes if you are like us - on holiday :) It's also close to the ruins, and not far...

Once we have got to the place, Chelo the owner sprayed our bags with an anti-bug spray. Than we entered to her office for check-in, and there were signs telling that food isn't allowed in the rooms, otherwise rats and cockroaches will come visit you. Meanwhile we had to fill up some papers and suddenly I saw she taking our...

We spent two nights here in August 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Not only was the accommodation itself really clean and a SUPER cool concept, but the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Chelo, is what really made this stay for us. She was such a genuinely sweet person, and she made amazing breakfast for us both days...we were...

We loved staying with Chelo and her lovely animals (thoroughly enjoyed playing with Wendy). Much love goes into running this B&B. Breakfasts were exceptional and rooms comfy. Whilst a little way out of town, you are provided with bikes and head torches (which are useful at night). We spent much time exploring the town, cenotes and ruins. Chelo truly cares...

This place was a diamond in the rough. Chelo was the most incredible, friendly, warm host who made us feel totally at ease. The wooden huts are well made and safe - just be aware that there's no air con so it can get pretty hot during the night. The breakfast is the best bit- fresh fruit, cake with cooked...
