Perfection

I was completely blown away at our stay at Mi Amor. This takes boutique to the next level. Words can not do justice how perfectly this hotel is set up in Tulum and with the ocean. From the first step out of your hotel room door to the beach I was in awe. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful time. The hotel has about 18 rooms so it never felt crowded and service was top notch, not to mention the food was unreal.

My fellow wanderers and adventurers, I never write reviews but I had such a phenomenal stay at Mi Amor that I felt compelled to leave a glowing one to my place of refuge and relaxation. It was beyond terrific for the following reasons: 1. It is small and intimate - perfect for couples to come and enjoy relaxing ocean views from the private beach of Mi Amor. 2. The rooms were comfortable, every detail was thought out. 3. The food was delicious, fresh, and versatile! 4. The location is terrific - a bike ride away to the famous ruins, cenotes, and night life of Tulum beach! But you don’t feel like you are staying in the middle of the noisy party strip. It will be your little oasis of peace and joy! 5. The staff takes care of you like you are family. Thank you Mario and Simon, you made our stay unforgettable and we will be coming back to Mi Amor again! I did a lot of research before booking Mi Amor and it was better than anything I imagined. A magical place!

We loved our time at Mi Amor. The location is beautiful - we enjoyed waking up early and watching the sunrise in our coffee on the mornings. The staff were beyond amazing, they really do everything they can to make your time really special. I loved how they delivered hot tea before bedtime! Everything was really nice and clean and the food and cocktails were awesome! We visited the other Colibris while we were there and they were all awesome spots. Thank you for a great holiday!

It can' get any better!

Classy, cool boutique hotel close to playa paraiso and inside the beautiful Tulum National park. Food is superb and the vive is chilled and sophisticated. You are slightly away from the busy and some times chaotic restaurant area but this can be reached by bike in only 5 min. Still a few restaurants around worth trying. A fantastic experience and one of the top places for sure to stay in Tulum. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect boutique hotel in Tulum!

BOOK THIS HOTEL NOW. The best thing about our stop in Tulum was Mi Amor 💕 No brainer. One of the most amazing hotel experiences ever. Great staff, delicious food, scrumptious cocktails (the welcome drink omg), breathtakingly beautiful view, and Marco! The ocean right in front of the hotel was calm, crystal clear and warm. It’s away from all the crazy party scenes but a quick taxi ride. There’s a beautiful beach that you can walk to as well. The Mayan ruins and the centro are very close too🚴 We were so sad to head back home😭 Will definitely go back to this beautiful hotel for our next visit to Tulum!

A lot of people talk about ‘the plunge pool’ at the room but I don’t see any rooms that mention that, only jet tubs. Could someone clarify? Thank you so much!

hi, since the hotel has no beach can we use the properties such as MEZZANINE hotel to go the beach?

Rest assured that you will have a hard time leaving the beautiful beds on the rocks with awesome ocean views at Mi Amor, but if you do, you will be very welcome at any of the sister properties to enjoy its facilities, you may go to Mezzanine, El Pez or La Zebra (or to all of them!) to enjoy their beautiful beach. Can you walk the beach? It looks rather rocky and I can not tell if you have access to the beach from the hotel.

Mi Amor is located in a cliff with beautiful views of the Caribbean and our main pool faces the ocean as well. We do not have access to the beach from the hotel but have many options of beautiful beaches to recommend or you can enjoy our day beds spared out on the rocks to enjoy a cold drink and relax.
