SO charming comfortable and quaint. All the rooms are gorgeous and uniquely decorated. Extremely clean and comfortable beds. Eco friendly hotel. Staff is personable and nice. The breakfast was simple but so delightful. Location is perfect: with easy access to downtown Tulum, the Ruins and nearby Cenotes and other attractions. Plenty to do. We initially had a room on the jungle...

I looked online for SOOO long trying to work out were to stay in Tulum and I finally decided on Posada del Sol and I was so happy I did. Neither my partner or I had been to Tulum and I found it confusing as to where everything was in proximity to everything else. On line everything seems remote from...

This place is beautiful and offers many amenities for the price! Not only do they serve breakfast (eggs and fruit), but they also have a semi-private beach and a private balcony on the right side of the beach (we spent one night looking at the beautiful sky..saw shooting stars). The hotel staff is very friendly and rooms are big with...

If you are looking for a low key, relaxing, clean, no fuss place, right on the beach look no further. Delicious breakfast included in the price. Tons of places to eat and drink within walking distance. If you like star gazing check out their cliff top platform after dark.

We loved our stay at Posada del Sol -- it really made for the best experience in Tulum. Location is GREAT. Room felt very fresh (and was cleaned daily!). Everyone on site was so helpful and friendly. We can't wait to return.

Booked 9 nights in a two bedroom suite @ around $220usd per night. We left after two nights, as soon as we found an alternative. The room has not a single place to sit or anywhere to store clothes except on the floor. The room is tiny shabby and extremely dark, as in no lights. There is a complete lack...

We just got back from a one week stay at La Posada del Sol. A few important things to note: 1) The hotel does NOT have fresh water. The shower and the sink are all salt water so you will be taking salty baths and brushing your teeth with salty water. This is something I was really concerned about, but...

La Posada del Sol is a charming hotel on an idyllic, though short-ish, stretch of beach; many cute shops, bars, and (conveniently) a small mini-mart are within short walking distance. We were pleased with our room's cleanliness and with the included breakfast (alternating between fresh fruit/yogurt and good scrambled eggs), which the staff were happy to serve us outside. Tanja...

La Posada del Sol is a great hotel from the standpoint of location, its clean, well decorated rooms and its access to the beach. But I found that the most important aspect was the exceptional service that I received from the management. They were responsive and accommodating even before I arrived and always willing to offer assistance and information with...

A week of R&R...except for there was no R&R. The hotel decor is charming. My room was quite nice. Tanja and Clara were great. From there it all goes down hill. The construction next door is terrible. At all times during the day it sounds as though they are jackhammering on the roof of the hotel. The noise does not...
